Since it's safe for me to say a majority of you live in the U.S., I wanna ask you the following questions:

1. Would your beliefs remain the same if you went to a different country and lived there for a while? Particularly ones that are rich in culture like Japan, China, Philippines, Thailand, and India?

2. Would you be as outspoken about your beliefs in these countries as you are here? When you are aware that the culture (yes, even the modern culture) is different from that of America?

3. Would you be willing to explore how life is like in these countries and see if you can learn something from them?

Here is one. And if you check my profile you'll see many links to hundreds of other Muslims, most of them Islamic leaders and Mosque leaders, proving that the terrorists have no right to be doing what they do. These links also contain other links to hundreds of others. Why do you wish to ignore the condemnations after trying to claim we don't speak out? We've been speaking out against extremists from day one, but quite conveniently those who are sick in the head enough to enjoy the feeling of hatred don't want to hear it. At least those who truly follow Islam have done their part. And no, we're not going to risk our own families to please those who will just say "well that was just one......" because it's not worth it. We can fight the extremists and we can prove to them that they are no Muslims, but we also have children and we're not leaving them orphaned to please those who will call them terrorists for just being Muslims when they are adults. What do you think?

I've searched quite a bit and all I can find is Primum non nocere, which is First, do no harm, but I was looking for the Latin for "to help, or at least to do no harm" which should be somewhere in Epidemics, Bk. 1, but I don't know Latin at all so I can't pick it out. Thanks.

the priest told me that satan is in ALL. another priest told me that satan can give us intelligent ideas..

i noticed that the psichologists say that you have halucinations if you hear something or if you see something that is unseen by others..

in the books of the saints it is shown that what is unseen by others are the visions given by demons..there are also visions given by God not only to the prophets of the bible or to the saints.
actually a vision is something revealed by God, part of the reality. A saint has seen how the demons are calling a man on their way to sin..an angel was shown to the saint..the angel was looking like a man , was crying , because the man he was taking care of, was inside the whorehouse...the saint saw how the demons make the people fight.. the saint saw how the demons take the money spent by a man into a pub and give it to satan'' their god''..saying that it money won by them..and so on..

also a preiest says that those who are begginers in prayer

this question is mainly directed to all my brothers and sisters in Islam: I am a recent convert to Islam, and I have been going through a serious internal struggle lately about whether or not to start wearing hijab now. I really want to wear it, as I agree with the reasons behind it, but I have to admit that living in the U.S., I am scared about how people will treat me. I am also scared about how my white Christian family will react. I am 22 yrs old and am currently finishing my last semester of college. I feel like this may be meant to be one of my biggest jihads in life, I am seriously struggling with this. I can't sleep. Please, any advice/stories about when you or someone you know first started wearing hijab? Thanks so much! Salaam Alaikum :)

Yesterday my son had his hair cut, the bill came to $14.90 & I tipped her $3. Later I noticed the hair above the ears was uneven & planned on going back today to have her fix it - since the fix won't be charged - do I tip again?

No matter how many times we try to tell you the truth about the Church you wont believe us, that is true in your questions and answers

Have you ever stopped to think that maybe we don't do the things you accuse us of, when there are so many saying no we don't do that?

Do you only go by hearsay or what?

I've read the Bible numerous times however, I seem to have missed the passage where Jesus said, "If you clasp your hands togethor and get a busy signal, pray through to my mother Mary."
Why do you pray to Mary?
I'm certainly NOT mocking or, downplaying this important and beloved woman, I just don't understand the point of it since Jesus never spoke about it or required us to do so...

The medieval sect of Christianity known as the Albigensians took self-denial to the highest peak: they viewed the "holiest" death as self-starvation. This idea intrigues me, partly because of its affect on the imagination of Simone Weil, whose partisan I am, and partly because of the linking of contrite self-denial with holiness.

Weil, who had a predisposition towards ascetic self-denial which coincided with her anorexia, was mesmerised by the idea of embracing the true ideal of Christianity. An Atheist for most of her life, she embraced Christianity intellectually after much study and debate. The movement over her soul of troubled emotions sought in Christianity a release, and an acceptance.

As she could not accept herself, but sought to sacrifice herself, the Albigensian doctrine seized her imagination and determination in equal measure: she did indeed starve herself to death, and died in the Christian faith.

Was this needless sacrifice? Your faith's view on self-denial?

In all situations i faight like a man with equal powers, once i saw my opponent lost some thing important i give to him for a positive approach or if noticed iam loosing i give win to my opponent with honour.
Mostly i like to ask why tou afraid to me? i saw that they feel a dislike is a disability?
