Christians say they have faith because they can feel God.

If that is so, then why do other people relentlessly believe in other religions claiming that they had miracles and they feel the existence of their God or whatever.

What I am saying is that there are so many other religions and beliefs that other people have and they are firm ones!

So how could you Christians be so sure of your beliefs when other people also feel equally strongly about their beliefs?

You think they definately are wrong but they strongly believe they are right and they think you are wrong.

Is this not a strong evidence that the Faith everyone got is invalid and unreliable as anyone or any religion can easily have it.

This is why your faith can easily be claimed as imaginary since other religions that you claim are wrong can easily have strong faith in their beliefs!

Do you get my point?

Don't say you feel your faith, I just explained my point!

So once a year me and my friend fake sick the same day and go over to each others houses while our family is gone. In the morning, when my mom tries to wake me up I need to know how to act, so she will believe I'm sick..please help?

Seriously..I think people target some people and give them thumbs down because they are jealous that they didn't know the answer themselves, aren't as creative, aren't as sarcastic, or just don't possess the capacity of information as someone else does. Don't hate. It's not attractive.

Religious websites skew information toward their own beliefs, as many Christian researchers have commented on. Historic or scientific websites would carry much more weight with many of us outside the Christian community, as they have evidence to back their claims. Posting verses from the Bible with religious links to attempt to back it up is about equal to quoting nursery rhymes and using Mother Goose as evidence of its veracity.

I just had this thought in my head, I'm doubting it's original.

So thousands of years ago, before anyone knew the earth's core was super hot, they said that there was a hell "down there" that was a burning pit of suffering. Then we find out that down there actually is very hot.

Doesn't that make the Heaven/Hell idea more valid?

Why are so many religions based simply off stories, I'm not trying to offend anyone, but, when I think of it, I can't get over the fact that Bible, and lots of other religous books are simply stories with underlying codes. When bad things happen, you pray to God, correct? Why do you overlook the fact that he's the cause of the bad things? Take the fires in Southern California for example. People are praying to God to stop the fires. But they don't realize that he's the cause. And I don't want any "God will do what is best" crap. What good can leaving 70,000+ people homeless do?

Personally i think it's all fantasy stories i mean our brain triggers the way we feel and the way we interact with others we were just taught what not to do and have a conscious so therefore we'd just die and thats it, lifes over. i mean the bible says that animals dont go to heaven becaus thay have no souls but really were all animals most of us have the same organisms its just were smarter than animals and think that we are somehow different and have souls?

Working with a company with its main location in the area where the wild fires are out of control. They had a deadline of today and I havent heard anything back. However, my contact - the project lead, is not at that location, and they also have many other locations, and not sure where the work is being done. Im putting together an email to check on the status, but would also convey thoughts for their employess who might be affected by the fire, but not give them an out, if this is not why its late? Any tips, everything I write sounds like a sympathy card - kind of a "thoughts are with you" wording, seems too personal.

My Halloween costume this year will be none other than representing the "drunk girl at the party." I have a "Party Girl" tank top, which will also show my hot pink bra underneath. I plan on wearing an itty bitty denim skirt, with possibly a thong hanging out the back. I think I might mess up my hair and smudge my makeup...and of course, walk around all night chugging out of wine coolers.

Does anyone else have anything to contribute to this costume? I really want it to be funny and as realistic as possible!
