Was supposed to be visiting my son and the family over in Germany about now, but life intervened. They're in Vienna this week....so you know where I would rather be!
But if and when the Seniors ever converge here in Savannah, y'all know you have an official tour guide! We'll start at Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House for breakfast, then~as Sage said~fill up on the buffet at The Lady and Sons, and have dinner outside under the ol' oaks at the Crab Shack!

Sitting on my balcony aboard the cruise ship Carnival Liberty, having room service lunch of roast beef and brie sandwich, reading my book and looking forward to a nice nap followed by a few hours at the tables in the casino after a wonderful dinner.

Back in a big city, anywhere there is more than one stoplight. I moved here from the city because my sister went into a retirement center and I wanted to offer what help I could. I committed to myself to be here as long as I can help her. I asked myself, "If you take an old man out of the city, can you take the city out of the old man." It worked for a while, but recently I have been suffering from small town fever, an off shot of cabin fever.

I'd like to be in Savannah, Ga. at the Lady and Sons southern restaurant having an 'eat off' with the gang from Seniors - SO would love to meet with many of you!...We shall place Southern Comfort at the head of the table - then you all can read that scrumptious menu, while she interprets items for you...do not be shy and TRY what sounds good...if you get confused, opt for the buffet and taste a bit of everything.

On a beach in Palma de Mallorca, Spain or Sardinia at Spiaggia Rena Majore...getting some ALL OVER sun. Yup, still warm enough there for that.

Sleeping or at the beach.......sleeping ON the beach! I've missed a lot of sleep in the last few days & I was in a sound sleep this morning when my alarm went off. (I drive my guy to work since he works close by & there's no parking there). I'm eating a snack now & hoping I can sleep for another hour or two...........For the second part, 2 of my 3 dogs sleep in the same room with me.

I'm OK where i am. I'm too busy to go anywhere else today.
The sun is shining and I have just come in from gardening.
I now have an apple crumble to make before the grandchildren come home for tea.

Great question! Picking up my fat cheque from Camelot and then waving goodbye to everyone as I make my way to the airport and jet off to Guatamala to contemplate what to do with the dosh. It'll be 6 star all the way instead of my usual cheapy budget style. Hopefully I'd find my soulmate out there and live happily ever after.

Having some coffee outside in France near the mountains. Looking at what people are wearing as they pass, listening to the chatter of everyone around and figuring out how I will plan the rest of my day as I sip my cup.

Savannah with all of you. And I have a "in" to get us emergency seating at Lady & Sons. My daughter is married in a round about way in Paula Deen's family. Her sister in law is married to Jamie Deen.
I'd buy everyone one Of Paula's cookbooks and you could get them autographed. Especially our friends out of the country would have the best recipes for southern cooking.
