Because Xians ask the overwhelming majority of lame, repetitive questions like this one.

I don't 'bash' Christians for believing in god. It may be a nonsense thing to believe in however - it is your right and its not a choice. Jews and Muslims are just as so.

What I knock SOME Christians and Muslims for is the forcing others to join their nonsense.

Oh they do. I just don't know many jews or muslims that I could bash.

I don't bash anyone for their beliefs except when they try to impose them on me or my family. That's why christians come in for most of the bashing - most of the evangelising here comes from a small group of vocal christians.

Why do you feel the need to make sweeping generalisations? Grouping all atheists together as if we're all cloned is as ill-informed as classifying all religionists (or even all christians) as young-Earth creationist fundamentalists

Here is my response from that page:

This is a forum for English speakers, and the majority of people here are from the U.S. Now do the math:

I don't live in a place where there's a Mosque on every block.

I don't live in a place where Buddhists knock on my door on Saturday mornings, or shove tracts into my hand that say I'll gravely suffer unless I obey the 8-fold path.

I don't live in a place where Hindus are trying to have their cosmic Brahma creation story taught as science in public schools.

And it wasn't a Jewish temple that I was forced to go to every week up through my teenage years, to recite things I didn't believe in, under the threat of punishment (both parental and metaphysical).

So, it shouldn't be any surprise that Christian questions come up more often.

a lot of americans, not a large % of jews and muslims there, they have not had a chance to get really annoyed by them yet.
Go live somewhere with mostly muslims or hindus.... oy
it can get pretty annoying...really annoying. Or israel, where you have to deal with real orthodox jews, not american style ones

Funny thing is, in Asia the christians are the friggen party people.

You just havent gotten to know the hindus, muslims, and jews well enough ;)
A week of getting woken up at 4 am by giant speakers, having militias destroy your favorite pool hall because it is evil, or watching the way hindus treat untouchables...then to escape all that I have to have a 2 hour conversation with someone about why I don't have a personal relationship with jesus........ and you will get fed up with humans in general

Atheist have never learnt strategy and are attacking the biggest and strongest religion first. They should learn, if you want to eat the world take small bites. They should eliminate the smallest and most defenceless religions first and work their way up until their biggest problem faces them like a whale beached on a frozen shore. A rich feast to be devoured for days with much dancing and singing and drinking of the vodkas and great rejoicings in the hearts of all the little heroes of the atheist revolution.

If you're referring to atheists online, probably because most are from the US, where there's a Christian majority.
I'm not in the US, but here there are pretty much 4 churches to every mosque, etc.

I don't 'bash' anyone.
When I make comments opposing theism, they relate either to the religion mentioned in the question, or to theism in general. Any Christian bias is caused purely by the fact that more Christians ask questions here than followers of other religions.

I usually say god(s), I don't know if the makes Christians feel better or worse.

I know more about they bible than other books.
The non-Atheist/Agnostic questions I answer are mostly asked by Christians.

If it makes you feel better, I think their (Jews or Muslims) beliefs are just as silly.
I don't care what ppl believe, (I believe in religious freedom), I just don't want to effect my life or government.

Listen, we Jews have enough problems without you wishing more for us!

And besides, why do you care if atheists criticise you? So long as you are secure in your faith, who cares what anyone else says?
