Despite the tens of Thousands of peer-reviewed papers supporting Evolution. Despite thousands of transitional fossils. (which you claim don't exist)
Despite the fact that there isn't a single solitary shred of evidence supporting the existence of your imaginary sky pixie.
Yet you still persist in your childish belief that somehow, some being "up there somewhere" created the universe and everything in it on a whim?
Do you all still believe in Santa or the Easter bunny too? Because there is as much evidence for their existence as there is for you god's...

Here are a couple of links for you to ignore, they're scientific and are based in reality, so they're probably not for you;
Evolution is a fact AND a theory;
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/evolution-fact.html

Transitional fossils;
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/faq-transitional.html

And last but not least, 29 evidences for Macro evolution;
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/comdesc/section1.html#pred4

There you go. Ignore at will.

Sherman: What will you do to win the votes of the Americans who are atheists?

Bush: I guess I'm pretty weak in the atheist community. Faith in God is important to me.

Sherman: Surely you recognize the equal citizenship and patriotism of Americans who are atheists?

Bush: No, I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God.

Sherman (somewhat taken aback): Do you support as a sound constitutional principle the separation of state and church?

Bush: Yes, I support the separation of church and state. I'm just not very high on atheists.

I'd say 90% of american white people, Not all because there probably are some good ones out there. And all those white people that say "they have black friends" are BIGOTS, if that is your defense it is lame and a dead givaway to a racist.

Several people online here have made the claim that the Roman Catholic church was founded in 325 by Constantine. I would like to find a detailed, SCHOLARLY statement of this claim -- book length, with footnotes, the whole nine yards. Scholarly. Detailed. A graduate-level course bibliography would be a good answer to my question.

Please don't explain the claim here. Just bibliographic info, please.

Also, please don't refute the claim here. If you can point me to a detailed, scholarly, SPECIFIC refutation of the claim, fine. But I'm not interested in general histories of the early church that don't specifically address this claim -- I have several histories of the early church.

Did I mention I'm interested only in SCHOLARLY works? :-)

I asked: What name is Jesus talking about in his prayer? And why is the name of God omitted from most Bibles including KJV?

Here is the questions with some answers:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Akjart24BDsXUg9cxIO06tbsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070929054942AAOB8sq

PART 2:

Jesus states: I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world." (John 17:6)

So why don't most bibles show the name of God? Why don't they make God's name clear or evident like Jesus came on earth to do?

God's name was clearly of crucial importance to Jesus, since he mentioned it repeatedly in his prayers.

Yahveh or Jehovah, appears in the original scriptures 6800 times.

But it is omitted by most Bibles and Most Christians are ignorant about God's name.

God wants his name known.

Isaiah 43 :10 "You are My witnesses," declares the ">>LORD<<"

Original scriptures: "You are My witnesses," declares Jehovah.

I do not understand it, even in the context of the story it doesn't make sense.

Ezekiel 4:12-13 Eat the food as you would a barley cake; bake it in the sight of the people, using human excrement for fuel." The Lord said, "In this way the people of Israel will eat defiled food among the nations where I will drive them."

On an earlier question I was told that to emphasize light rather than sacrifice for sin is the "Gnostic Gospel."

I was told that I should stay away from that kind of thinking.

Gosh! I thought to myself... I better stay away from those Four Gospel because Jesus speaks about light all the way through those 4 Gospels ... and when he addressed the subject of sacrifice he said "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice." (from Matthew 9:13) source: http://gospelenigma.com

So are the Four Gospels in fact the Gnostic Gospels?

How often do you speak to Jesus? Jesus hears us every time we pray, after a while he gets to know you... and you can just think about him and he's there. :D I feel the warmth of his presence daily now, I've seen many people healed by his name, even blindness!

If you don't have a healthy relationship with Jesus, I just encourage you to pray. Prayer is so much more then I ever thought, it has healed my heart of all depression.

Jesus is a very safe person. I go to him with everything.

In Dhammapada, it is written:

136. A fool does not know when he commits his evil deeds: but the wicked man burns by his own deeds, as if burnt by fire.
137. He who inflicts pain on innocent and harmless persons, will soon come to one of these ten states:
138. He will have cruel suffering, loss, injury of the body, heavy
affliction, or loss of mind,
139. Or a misfortune coming from the king, or a fearful accusation, or loss of relations, or destruction of treasures,
140. Or lightning-fire will burn his houses; and when his body is destroyed, the fool will go to hell.

For sins as small as lying or speaking rude words [which in Islam or Christianity would most likely be forgiven after simple repentance, if one stays away from bigger sins] people would have their tongues cut off. Please see:
