First and foremost Jesus brings me joy! My family, the laughter of children, birds chirping with joy, and singing their sweet notes early in the morning. What a wonderful way to be awaken each and every morning. I love nature in general. I look at the trees in all their splendor in full bloom in the summer giving us blessed shade from the sun. How they sway with the gentle ,summer breeze. In the Fall how the leaves turn different colors, It looks like God reached down from Heaven and with a paint brush in his hand making the trees so beautiful. In the winter when I can see each and every perfectly formed branch and twig that jots each and every way, Oh! How beautiful when they glisten with the ice in the winter, in the Spring when they are just starting to bloom. The flowers are coming up. I love the rain drops, the starlit skys. I love the view out my window, I see deer, and all form's of wild life. My view outside my winow brings me great Joy!

Jesus Christ is the source of deep heartfelt joy.
John 15:11 These things I have spoken to you that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
Earthly things can bring temporary happiness and enjoyment but the joy deep in the heart, no matter the circumstances, can only come from Christ.

There are alot of thing that make me happy but all my joy comes from Christ. Knowing what He did to save me and thinking about the relationship I have with Him and thinking about who He is gives me joy. :o) Sometimes, so much joy that I feel I could pure burst. Even when I'm sad. Sounds weird I guess but that's how I feel. :o)

There is only one thing that can give you joy. Joy is a heart thing and not a head thing. Temporal gratification is in the flesh, and just about anything you can think of that makes your body feel good is temporal. Joy it's self comes from a righful relationship with God and yourself. That is something you can take to eternities bank. When you are satified continually in your own soul without even considering the fleshy desires, then you have achieved righteousness in God. After this attainment of a joyfull heart, it will resonate out to your flesh and make you feel good physically. Praise God!

It is not things that give joy it is Christ. He lets us borrow things and people to love and hold dear but they are always still His and sometimes we must accept that He needs them back and still be able to find joy for the time we were given with them.

My relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, his Father and the Holy Spirit.

My marriage.

My friends.

And in the purely physical realm, rain makes me feel joyful because I live in a drought-ridden area so whenever it rains I feel happy!
