I never realized how much energy it takes to play soccer until my granddaughter started playing. It looks easy but it sure isn't!!! Good Luck!!

I actually went to watch my 9 year old son play football today. He and his teammates played so hard and they lost, but the problem was, that they couldn't beat the refs. The refs were totally on the other teams side. All of the flags/penalties were always and only on us. The other team, should've had penalties for unnecessary roughness, playing after the whistle, and false starts and yet not one flag was thrown on any of this! This was so unfair but I'm a big believer in Karma. Enough said.

When my daughter was little my son used to drive her crazy making her play catch. When she was 6 she started playing T Ball and I have never laughed so much in my life. She would put her glove down at 3 base and start picking dandy lions--the coach would yell at her and she would grab her glove and catch the ball. I am watching my little grandson today and he is playing a vid game, cloudy and nasty out today and cold. Yesterday on the way home from his day care he sang to me--It's Raining it's pouring the old man is snoring. Hadn't heard that for years. By the way you were right on the Indian tribe. ;0)

What a wonderful day for you! Enjoy!
I don't have any grand kids and not sure if I ever will. My daughter is unable to have kids and my son and his wife are not thinking about that yet. That's okay with me though. I'm never going to be an aunt either since my sisters are not able to have kids.

I would love to but my only son is grown (25 years old) now and when he played football I went to his games. I don't have any grandkids yet.

One of 'my girls' (3rd/4th grade Sunday school class a few years ago) was supposed to be a SPECIAL in the half time at my 2 sons' old high school last night, so I went. The game was cancelled...because NO REFEREES showed up!

Grand daughter off to softball practice. I will wait for the games and instead enjoy the quiet of having the house to myself.

My grandaughter is going to a birthday/swimming party today for one of her half sisters so I get to "play" longer on my computer. Grandkids are our reward for being brave enough to have children. I couldn't have any (always wanted six) so we adopted one.
