We aren't robots. Well, Atleast most of us aren't. The suffering in the world is because of us. It's our fault that wars, violence, murder go on.

It's scientifically established that a natural state for humans is peace and happiness (look at a child and we can get it),with minimum sufferings through natural calamities and diseases. So,if there is so much suffering in the world then we humans are solely responsible for that in one way or the other. Therefore, logically the joint human effort only can minimize it.Would we rise to the occasion and take up the challenge?UNO doesn't inspire too much of a hope.Still,HOPE is all we have.

Yes. This might seem like a strange idea at first, but without suffering, how would you enjoy life? You cannot appreciate one without the other. If you do not know what suffering is like, you cannot enjoy the times, when you have it good.

The combination of emotions and intelligence make humans prone to suffering. Since life cannot be "fair" to every person in every situation, someone is not going to get what s/he need, not going to do what s/he wants because someone else's need/wants get in the way.
