She mentioned that I should stay out of God's way and let Him do the work. So does that mean that, if the guy I liked WAS the one God wanted me to marry, no matter what I did or didn't do, God would put this guy in my path?

Like they do to this one using christianity:

If it is not intended as a direct assault on christianity why don't they throw other religious rigures in the promo? Islam is as much against homosexuality as is christianity, so why the hypocrisy?

Christians, is there BIG sin and LITTLE sin. Or is sin just sin?

And if so, and things like greed, gluttony, lying, drunkeness, fits of rage, hatred, gossip are sins that are no more EVIL than homosexuality, why don't you pay the same attention to them? Especially since, those other biblical sins ACTUALLY have a disastrous impact on society and families RIGHT NOW.

Perhaps my two lesbian neighbors having kids and a family, adversely affects YOU, but it doesn't harm my family or others. But I can see how gluttony, drunkeness or lying can damage ANY family/society.

So, where is the mass moral OUTRAGE for these biblical sins? Where are the Christian protests and campaigns against lying fraudulent corporations, gossip mags, hate groups, booze advertising, greedy televangelists etc.

Are you only fired up when it comes to things that conveniently play into the existing prejudices of your community?

Isn't treating one sin with more severity than others, moral relativism?

I've had a string, a very long string, of bad bad luck the past 5 years. I feel that whatever bad thing I do, comes back to me immediately and in the same way. I know about karma but to this degree? Could it be a spell cast over me? How does one know? How can it be broken? Do spells exist???

And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, `Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:21-22 NAS)

He says "ALL THINGS" you ask for as long as you believe.

While they were growing up.

We had timeshare, so used to use that, and had a caravan, and did a lot of windsurfing.

It was always a good inexpensive holiday. I don't like having to go to hotels, where you are expected to dress up. And Club Med, are not for me. We did go to a lot of Islands off the coast of Africa, but they were much less formal.

You could go to dinner inn your bikini top and a pareo or shorts.

But now, I think it is time to find a partner. Alone too long. maybe I should go to club Med? But they may all be too young. LOL

Scientists have discovered that Pinot noir grapes have more genes than humans. It has about 30,000 genes in its DNA. That's more than the human genome, which contains some 20,000 to 25,000 genes.

So my question is, how would a grand designer spend more time with grapes than with humans?

Sorry, just couldn't resist this one.

I want to know if I have to go through the Catholic church or not. I understand the history and lineage, but it seems that the way people approach God in the Catholic church today isn't much like it was in 100 AD.

I have two scriptures to reference... 1 Tim 2:5 "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." and John 14:6 "...No one comes to the Father except through me."

It seems Jesus wanted us to come to God through him, not by praying to saints or by one specific church. There were many churches in 75 AD, they were people that had given their lives to Christ in different cities and they met with believers in their homes etc (Acts 2...).

Has something changed, or am I not understanding something? Do I have to come to God via the Catholic church or can I just come to God via Jesus? Are protestants going to be accepted by God? I really want to know what YOU believe.

1.) If I pray for God to to allow me to meet the man that He wants to marry (someone of deep faith, loves Him, and me, etc.) ...do you think He will be involved in circumstances so I will meet him? (For ex., There is a man I am very interested in at church, but I haven't had the chance to even speak to him because of circumstances I only get to rarely get to see him) If he (by chance was the man for me(rare as it could be I know---just saying for example) , would God manipulate our schedules so I could get to know him)?

2.) Also, wouldl that man know that I am right for him and be drawn to me too?
