vealed in all its ugliness. On the other hand, most people are afraid to reveal the truth about Islam for fear that they will be killed for saying it. Islam will have to win by default.

They will continue on together, vieing for control of the most sheep. Until people realize them both for the myths that they are and drop religion in it's entirety.

Actually, Islam lacks quite a few silly ideas that are in Christianity. In Islam, God didn't have to appease himself by sacrificing himself to himself before he could forgive sins. Also, in Islam, God never told people that they had to make blood sacrifices to him, (what would God want all that blood for? Is he a vampire?).

Islam has a couple of silly things added on to it, such as the sudden importance placed on Mecca and the sudden appearance in scripture of Jinn, but those aren't really central to its message.

As for "revealing the ugliness" of Islam, the Quran is available on the web, in a lot of different languages, to anyone that wants to read it. There aren't many Muslims that are going to kill you for reading the Quran. If people want to see what Islam is about, they can go read the Quran and see if they think it contains a lot of ugliness or not.

I certainly wouldn't go out and stand in the middle of the street in Tehran and start yelling about every flaw I think Islam has, that would be a bad idea, and it very well might get me killed. However, no one has to do that for people to learn whatever they want to find out about Islam.

As for which will last the longest, I think they will probably both have followers for quite some time to come. I don't expect either one to die out in my lifetime. Both of them will probably continue to slowly change over time. Eventually, it may be hard to recognize either of them based on what they look like today. Will that mean they have died out? Or will it just mean they have evolved?

Personally, I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they eventually merged to a certain extent. There are already some people that seem to have a mix of beliefs from each of those religions. I think that will be more common as Islam becomes more familiar to people in the west.

A lot of people know so little about their own religions that they don't even realize that some of their beliefs are actually just something they heard about that was from a different religion. I've talked to Christians that were fairly certain that the word "karma" was in the Bible somewhere.

Actually I hate to say this, but I think Christianity would last longer until the Day of Judgement, because all the Believers would be mercifully dead before the major signs of the Day of Judgement, from what I know. That's just my opinion.

Christianity. Every time the USA is attacked by terrorists, an Islamic government is toppled. Keep it up, and the Americans will get so ticked that they'll go Old Testament on ya.

I would say both. Think about it..5,000 years from now there will be newer religions, and slowly Christianity and Islam will both die out and be old news.

from my understanding islam depends on christianity much like christianity depends on Judaism. if the foundation was found false, that which is built on it would crumble.
