Experts claim that the UFO wreckage and even the pilots are transported to a top-secret facility in Dayton, Ohio called "Hangar 18" located on Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Declassified Government documents prove that the "disk" from the famous Roswell event and fragments of other mysterious crashes were shipped to Wright Patterson. Hear stories involving elected officials, UFO researchers, and former base employees, some of whom are going on the record regarding "Hangar 18." They spin a tale of flying saucer debris, alien bodies, cryogenic chambers and a vast underground network that may hold the secrets to the UFO mystery. Is there a conspiracy to hide UFO evidence from the highest branches in the U.S. Government.

Hypothetical: Scientists today have solved 3 of the worlds greatest mysteries. Today scientists discovered indisputable proof of the existence of God and Evolution and the Big Bang. Does this mean the end of Creation vs. Big Bang and Evolution vs. Intelligent Design?

If this really happened would the debate be over? Would Jerry Falwell, rest in pease, and James Dobson be satisfied?

"We have little reason to think that violence inspired by Bibles and other religious texts will ever cease. One only has to look at the religious wars around the world to see belief's everlasting destructive potential. One only has to look at the Protestant-Catholic uprising in Ireland, the conflicts in the middle east with Jews fighting Moslems & Christians, the Gulf war, Sudan's civil war between Christians and Islamics, the Bosnia conflicts, and the war in Iraq. The desperate acts of fanatical individuals who have killed for their beliefs of Jesus, Mohammed, God or Satan would create a death list unmatched by any other method in history. The "Holy" Bible supports the notion of war and destruction, not only as a prophesy but as a moral necessity. If we wish to become a peaceful species, it may well serve us to understand the forces of belief that keep us in continual conflict and why the Bible has such a stronghold on the minds of people around the world."

Inane, adjective: lacking sense or meaning; silly.

What's the most inane answer you've ever seen to that same question (the one in your own response; not this one :P)

That the book Narnia has nothing to do with the Bible!

The writer himself made a claim when he wrote it that it had nothing to do with God. It was just a story he made up.

So why is there Narnia crap in Bible Book Stores???

Why isn't Harry Potter or the Lord Of The Rings there to??

Who else thinks that Narnia has nothing to do with the Bible....Because the writer himself SAID it did have anything to do with the bible!!!?

One of my favorite ways to pass the time in this forum are the roaming questions. As far as I know, it's the only type of question in which just about everyone that answers can get along without shouting insults at eachother. It's just good fun (I won't say it's clean, because it can get quite dirty at times).

It isn't something that anyone has to participate in. If you don't like to roam, simply don't answer the question. So please tell me why my R&S roaming question was offensive enough for someone to report?

Do you think it has something to do with my religious beliefs?

From a literal interpretation of scriptures, I am told that those who do not turn from their sin,are going to hell....

homosexuals are going to hell, unless they change.... I Corinthians 6:9

From the same literal interpretation of scripture we see that:
divorced/remarried will go to hell...1 Corinthians 6:9, Luke 16:18, matthew 5:32, Matthew 19:9, unless they change by remaining celibate

Also, those who have declared bankruptcy, defaulted on student loans/credit cards have stolen...and unless they repay the debt will go to hell...Ephesians 4:27-29, Leviticus 19:10-12. Deuteronomy 5:19, romans 13:7-9

obese/gluttons will go to hell, Proverbs 23:2, II Peter 1:6, Philippians 3:19, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Proverbs 23:20-21, II Peter 1:5-7, II Timothy 3:1-9, unless they turn from their sin, and get healthy.

So fundies, who the heck will be in heaven given the number of homosexuals, divorce rate, number of bankruptcies, and the number of fat people?

Some people defend the kids who hung nooses from a tree saying that this act was not illegal. Though it may not have technically been illegal, it could still be considered a threat to kill. Maybe six black guys jumping onto a white guy could also be considered not technically illegal. It happens in football all the time. The problem was not the hanging of a rope, but the threat it posed. Just the same the jumping was not a game; it was a violent attack.

So for those who defend the hanging of the nooses as technically not illegal, let's see if you can list some things that blacks have done that may seem racist but were not technically illegal. The first example that comes to mind for me is Kanye West's claim that George Bush doesn't care about black people. It was a racist comment but not illegal.

After considering the many acts of racism on both sides, explain how any of these benefited society rather than tore us apart.

I asked a question earlier about Religion being based on fear. I received an answer from a Christian stating that Christianity is not based on fear. It is my understanding that Christians believe that if you don't believe in Jesus Christ and accept him into your heart that you will not be accepted by God or forgiven for your sins........Isn't that fear? I could be wrong, I would just like an explanation of this if possible.

Why do most atheists seem to get so upset whenever God or religion is mentioned in schools or other public places? Considering that this country was founded by mainly christians and most of the first schools in America had biblical teaching in them, seems a little strange.

I have a serious question which i am sure will be filled with bonehead answers. I am 24..raised in a non religious home. I am divorced and i live with my boyfriend. I am also very liberal. It's just that i have never felt comfortable with God. I don't *not believe* in Him, but it hasn't been a subject that I have been farmiliar with. I want to feel God's presence. But the few times I have went to church have been just like i was there. I didn't feel that special way some people feel at church. It makes me sad that i feel that way. Can I make a relationship with God being this old...can i still hold my liberal beliefs? if there is a Hell am I doomed to burn in it? I am very confused and very curious. Please only answer this if you have a mature answer.

I am told as a gay man, that I am going to hell for my "supposed" sin, unless I turn from the sin.

So, what about the divorced/remarried folks, they too are going to hell, unless they turn from their sin by remaining celibate? Correct?

Matthew 5:32, " anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Matthew 19:9 states the same thing

Luke 16:18 same thing

1 Corinthians 6:9 says homosexuals AND adulterers will not inherit the kingdom of God.

So, considering the divorce rate is over 50% in our country...why are the religious folks railing against this sin.

This is over 50% of our country doomed for eternity in hell unless they turn from their sin by remaining celibate. I think you fundies need to start preaching the word...dontcha think?
