There is far more to being a part of my church than the pastor. There are the friendships that been developed with fellow worshippers. There are various ministry programs, some of which I participate in.

If my pastor said he used to be gay and gave the glory to God for redeeming him, I would say, "Praise God".

If my pastor declared himself to being a practicing homosexual who intended to continue doing so, I would call for HIS resigination.

If a Pastor confess to being gay. Then I was never in the Church I was deceived. He has a spirit of deception. Man plans his way but the Lord directs his path. The holy spirit give us the gift of discernment. So we know by his actions before he speaks.

First I can't even imagine that happening with my pastor. Second he would not be pastor much longer. I go to a very fundamental church. He would be removed from the office of pastor quickly. As he would for living any lifestyle in which he lived in unrepentant sin.

Maybe. That would depend. Were they going to actually engage in the lifestyle? If yes, then yes, I would leave that church. Same as I would leave it if the pastor said that he was going to engage in anything else that the Bible says is a sin.

Absolutely! 1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. I would also pray for this man's soul!
