I believe I'll have another drink. (Not to imply this is a drinking question.)
Seriously, investigation without conclusions is as valid as conclusions without investigation.

Everyone already does, it is a part of human nature.
Everyone "believes" the sun will rise. That the air will be there to breathe, that water will be available to drink..etc..
As for a "belief" in "something" such as a diety?...Well in that arena I personally think that people should CHECK out FACTS and come to logical conclusions based on ALL the information they can possibly gather!

Everyone does beleve in something. It's just not always a religion or deity.
Heck, I believe that humans are innately good. Despite some really obvious proof to the contrary.

Of course . We should believe in the forces and the beauty of nature . We're surrounded by it , beauty everywhere , also the force and ugliness . Beautiful sky's , mountains , landscapes, and destructive hurricanes . Beautiful little birds and animals , and others eating them .
It's all part of nature ,including us . All living things take our turn here then return to where we were before birth. We come from nothingness , and return to it . Isn't nature wonderful ?

Yes. It doesn't necessarily have to be a divine being, but having something to believe in is definitely good for your health.

I think that believing things that can be readily perceived by our senses or "proven" by our understanding are alot easier to do than to admit there's something we can't explain under our own reasoning and power.....it's actually a matter of choice

regardless of whether we should or should not.. WE DO!
Either we believe in something or we don't. For those who believe in something, that's a no brainer. However, not believing in something requires you to believe that something (or some idea) is untrue.
