So stupid to disclaim shown technology!! Primates are mammals that incorporate lemurs, monkeys, apes and human beings. The Strepsirrhini, or “moist-nosed” primates, which incorporate lemurs and lorises, branched off around sixty 3 million years in the past. previous international monkeys and apes divided from New international monkeys approximately 40 million years in the past. Aegyptopithecus zeuxis, which possibly resembles the common ancestor of latest international monkeys and apes, lived approximately 29 million years in the past. The apes split from previous international monkeys approximately 25 million years in the past. human beings and chimpanzees diverged 5-7 million years in the past. So specific on each and every split the unique have been given left in the back of to stay because it grow to be! yet why do you think of they have been unlucky? i'm specific that most of the "left in the back of" species are completely happy as they're and that there are a solid many human beings that doesn't concepts paying for and advertising places with them!!! Of the macaque's almost 3 billion DNA base pairs, ninety 3.5 consistent with cent are same to those in the human genome. that may not unpredicted for a species whose lineage diverged from our very own approximately 25 million years in the past. The human and chimp genomes, which diverged basically 6 million years in the past, are approximately ninety 8 consistent with cent same. One complicated discovery is that numerous mutations that reason genetic illnesses in human beings - which incorporate phenylketonuria and Sanfilippo syndrome, which carry approximately psychological retardation - are the traditional kind in macaques and, probably, our very own ancestors. The Pope, Catholic Church, Church of england and mainstream church homes all settle for evolution and the huge bang!! Lord Carey the former Archbishop of Canterbury placed it ok – “Creationism is the fruit of a fundamentalist attitude to scripture, ignoring scholarship and extreme gaining knowledge of, and difficult distinctive understandings of fact”!! nice that christians and atheists can agree and snicker mutually even despite if it is at your rate!!

People who are so misinformed and gullible enough to believe we magically came from dirt (and a rib-bone) are extremely hard to reason with. They will do anything they can to twist the theory of evolution to make it look like a complete joke to defend their own beliefs. Deep down, they really know there's more to it than that, but making it sound very simple and ridiculous turns people away from it - which is exactly what they want.

Even more telling is that they are offended by the idea that we descended from apes or monkeys or whatever, but not that we descended from primordial ooze.

Good question. Every time I hear a creationist say we came from monkeys its an instant tip off that they haven't a clue what the hell they are talking about, and haven't the slightest desire to learn either.

The Scopes trial
The origin of it all
That collage of images
Are you now saying the Scopes Trial is FICTION
Please, elaborate
We might actually agree, although not on particulars
You're saying the SCOPES trial was WRONG and the SUPREME COURT got it wrong
Is that what you are saying FOR THE RECORD

Classic straw man logical fallacy. Make the "other side's" argument vastly oversimplified or misrepresented and then it's easier to knock it down.

It is harder to argue against evolution when you are educated and informed on the subject. It is much easier to make up something that you know you can argue against. In their minds it is false, not because they know it is false, but because they don't know it is true.
