When I was in high school, iron cross is not allowed. But I'm not in high school anymore, and I see people wear it all the time. I know it's nothing compare to the swatzika, but is it still offensive for some people?

Wikipedia defines humanism as: "Humanism is a broad category of ethical philosophies that affirm the dignity and worth of all people, based on the ability to determine right and wrong by appeal to universal human qualities—particularly rationality.[1][2] It is a component of a variety of more specific philosophical systems and is incorporated into several religious schools of thought. Humanism entails a commitment to the search for truth and morality through human means in support of human interests. In focusing on the capacity for self-determination, Humanism rejects the validity of transcendental justifications, such as a dependence on belief without reason, the supernatural, or allegedly divinely revealed texts. Humanists endorse universal morality based on the commonality of the human condition, suggesting that solutions to human social and cultural problems cannot be parochial"
I believe that this belief system offers an alternative to ancient religions, such as christianity.

Morning all. 9.43AM here is Brisbane and sunny day.Thought you might like this, it is true.
While we were hicthiking around Europe, we were in Rome. We heard that Mount Vesuvius was starting to pour out smoke. We decided it would be "fun" (you are stupid, when you are 19!), so we took off to Naples.

One thing, that always remains in my memory, is the amazing site of four American Navy ships sailing into Naples, all the crew were on deck in formation, and it was just great to watch it.(Goosebump time).

Back to Vesivius. We climbed the side, not too far, and the rocks were very, very hot, and it sure was pouring smoke. Italians were ruuning down, we were going up. I am limited to characters! But then we decided that while we were in Naples, we should go and see the Isle of Capri, and the famous blue Grotto.

So we hopped on the ferry and went across.
Landed on Capri, and it was breathtaking.

and i think alot of people get the wrong idea of what christianity is about cuz were not supposed too go around condemning things and others and were not supposed too spoil the rod and beat the child and were not suppoosed too abandon people for who they are and what they are

They must learn to accept people for who they are because we are all made in the image and likeness of God The Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit. All human beings have a right to live in this world. No human being should be judge by the color of his or her skin. Look at the picture real good put your self in this picture, if anyone or anybody are judge by the color of his or her skin then you will know what it is to feel racism dealing with the color of the skin. The color of the man skin is being judge so hard in this world system. Stop it! Stop it! Wake up and learn to walk in love for each others as intelligent human beings. The whole world, every man and every woman should taste and see the goodness of God The Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit in truth and spirit. Learn as intelligent human beings to love and do justice to all human race. Peace!

What kind of characteristics turn you off from a person? I don't want to hear about skin color, ethnicity, etc. Me, for example, I dislike ignorance.

last night with two friends and something very freaky happened.
i read up on Ouija boards to make sure i knew what i was doing first, and websites said i had to ask not to talk to any evil spirits...and if i do contact a spirit and it spells hell/demon/devil ect i have to close the connection right away.

so we light 4 white candles, and asked not to connect to any evil spirits. The first spirit we got was evil. He spelled hell...so i closed the connection right way.

The next spirit we got said she was 23. She kept on spelling out 'test' again and again. So we asked her, test what? And she went to the letter u. We then told her that if she wanted us to leave her alone to go to goodbye. She then spelt out 'go now' So i closed the connection and we left.

this was my first time actually connecting to a spirit....and i know i shouldn't do it, but it was so amazing how it really worked. Do you think i should do it again? OR am i getting myself into something i don't want to be in?
