Gave it to a family member....only because I was allergic to it, even though it was real gold!

No idea..rings are dangerous on men's hands. We play with electical things ( good way to get electrocuted), we handle heavey equipment (good way to loose a finger), and...jewelry, in general, drives me nuts. Marriage is a state of mind far more than a ring. Let's face it...if you have to rely on a ring to signal whether or not a man is married, you are using a bad method of determining his status. If a man wants to play single, he can remove a wedding band and replace it with another ring (tell tale white rings are a dead giveaway.). But back to that ring thing....I haven't a clue!

On my ring finger. I've only had it off a VERY few times in the past almost 39 years, and now...it won't come off. It must have shrunk from doing the dishes 5 days a week.

After my marriage of 38 years ended in divorce, I placed my wedding ring set in my jewelry box. I now have a beautiful engagement ring on my finger. It belonged to my fiance's late mother. I feel honored to be wearing it & only wished I could have met her.
*jst4pat....Congrats!!!

My original set I was married with was stolen by the wife of
a second or third cousin I had just met after moving in the
army to Oklahoma. I had left them on the side of the bathroom
sink when I was washing my hands and accidentally left them
following having dinner at their house. By phone, she said they hadn't seen them. Then she mentioned probably her
toddler had seen and taken them. She lied. It turned out she'd
taken them and had a boyfriend, pawn them. I identified
them at the pawn shop out of a box filled with them. I couldn't
prove they were mine, and I wasn't able to pay the pawn to
get them out. I lost them.
I've since had a few other sets, that I did have to pawn
myself. Now I have another set I paid for myself when I was
still working. I guess they'll do me for the duration left.
