What kind of characteristics turn you off from a person? I don't want to hear about skin color, ethnicity, etc. Me, for example, I dislike ignorance.

Some people are so stupid and don't know how to treat other people. They have no respect of others. If they are different in any way they have to use their dam negativity. People need to grow up and start acting like normal law abiding citizens. Thanks for this question, Its a great question where I can express my opinion and get points ;)

Ignorance is definitely one of the things I don't like about people. I don't like it when someone who has never experienced true grief says, "I know how you feel" when someone you love has died. And the insincere attempts at empathy only to get you to stop talking about a problem..so they can get on to their own. It would help if people actually cared about one another and not what the other person could do for them. And it would really mean a lot to me for someone to ignore their ringing cell phone to continue interacting with someone who is there in the flesh. Voice mail and texting are there...use them.
Thanks for the great question. It really gave me pause to think.

I hate people who are hypocrites. Those who cannot accept criticism about certain issues when in actual facts, it's true. Those who take advantage of others ppl kindness are also on my list.
I don't judge ppl on their color or race. I have friends from many nationalities because of my work which takes me to many countries. However, I have come across many ignorant, rude, uncivilized, racists ppl regardless of their race/color too.

I cannot stand greedy, selfish people. I mean, how much more do you really need?
Cruel people are not high on my list either. I also do not like people who constantly need praise or need to be in the limelight all the time.

Inability to recognize the good in others, selfishness, and no regards for how people feel because they only look out for #1. This is why true friends are so hard to come by.

I dislike the desire people have to be liked by others, especially the ones who will go out of their way for other people to like them. They're so enraptured in their own greed that they don't realize that they're actually hurting themselves.

There's various things, but they usually are more psychological and personality based.
I dissapprove mostly of:
Hypocrisy
Ignorance
Prejudice
Bigotry (Mostly Racism, sizeism, and sex/sexual preference based discrimination)
There's more, but I have to get something done.
