It's a bit depressing not to have someone to share life with, but on the other hand I'm doing all the things I want to do. I don't have to see if "we" can do something on any given time. I'll just do it.
I make my own schedules, I spend weekends where I want, I go to sleep when I want, I eat what I want. Show me someone in a relationship that doesn't envy me of that - and I'll show you someone who's simply not a whole person on his or her own.
That said - I'd love to have someone to cuddle with... but I don't hate being single, no.

Yes. I hate being single also but I have had roommates and after awhile they depend on you to take complete care of them.
I have a few friends and 2 cats and I love my independence but it would be nice to have someone around to talk too once in awhile.
I am retired from the military so its a complete different life.

For the most part I am indifferent about it. Most of the time though I enjoy it. I don't miss it when I have somebody though.
Right now I am single, and glad. I would make a bad partner right now with all I have on my plate. Unfortunately, I am so very lonely that I have to keep even busier to push it away.

sometimes.. but I go long stretches single.. going on 6 or 7 years this time.. I really don't meet anyone out here.. I get annoyed by it, but then I'll watch my friend go from guy to guy to guy and it's one drama after another... maybe I'm the lucky one..

as of now, i kind of do. because i'm not really openly gay (only my closest friends know), it'd be great to have someone to make me feel better at the end of the day. you know, greet you with a hug, something like that. sadly, that'll probably not happen for a while.

You bet I do, it gets very frustrating sometimes when you have no one immediately with you.
