Since Christmas is fast approaching, we're already in the stage of planning for a promo come December. Any ideas on what a good promo is for a pizza chain? We need something that's really cool and out of the box so as to attract a large number of people.

I really appreciate any suggestion.

Thanks!

Before the time of Jesus human sacrifices were stopped. God knew the whole idea of Jesus was to give his life which the whole thing really amounts to a human sacrifice which is cirular logic. If God wanted to help mankind along don't you think he would have had Jesus do some global miracles that everyone at the same time all around the world would see? Instead what happened was Jesus only showed himself to a select few.

LOL, I mean it's a funny question, and I guess there's nothing new under the sun as they say.
HOWEVER, I recall a long time ago, some guy I used to know claimed him and other's at his church "did the laying of hands" thing and "this woman suddenly broke out in weird bumps all over and screaming and then was healed"
He was probably lying his head off [haha]
but maybe there's someone out there WHO DID LAYING OF HANDS AND WITNESSED SOMETHING STRANGE REGARDING THE PARANORMAL, Yes??
ty :--D

For those of you who are giving advice on which bible to study, your advice is way off base. Several versions were said to be closer to the original text. Not true at all! The Spirit of the Word authenicates Word, not a version. The truth be known, the NIV is actually more updated because of its direct translation from Hebrew and Greek and because of the number of scholars used in its translation. Be that as it may, we do not need to start a doctrine that one is supreme over all others. "The letter killeth, but the SPIRIT giveth life." It is not the book but the Spirit of the book. I read several versions for study purposes.

I have attended three religious institutions and one seminary. No one bible reigned supreme in school. We all have preferences, but that is the extent of it.

I was raised on the KJV, but I read the NIV when I meditate.

There are thousands of bibles in various languages, and they all are effective if in Christ!

I keep hearing this phrase in writing and art, as in "shrug off this mortal coil" and similar uses.

Can anyone explain to me where it comes from? I understand the meaning but am unsure on the etymology and such.

I dont know wtf is wrong with me but I hate him for rejecting me because I once accepted him but then turned against him. And I feel sad and confused and WILLFULLY called the holy spirit evil out of anger lots of times! and laughed at it! And called Jesus evil and unholy and started nailing him to a cross in my heart.

The models for all of the people in the fresca (painting done on a wall) of the Last Supper were all people that were carefully chosen by DaVinci himself over a seven year period. The first person, and center piece for the painting, was Jesus Christ. DaVinci interviewed several people for the modeling job, and finally found a man he believed to be the perfect picture of innocence and painted him as the Jesus. Toward the end of the seven years he had every one of the disciples except for one: Judas. He had yet to find someone who emobodied deceit and evil enough for him, until he heard about a man to be executed for crimes against humanity in Rome. He made his way to Rome and found the man to be killed, and realized that he was perfect for his painting. DaVinci pleaded to let the man be painted before his execution, and the request was granted, but the man was to be executed immeadiatly after the painting was completed. For three weeks, DaVinci painted his Judas

Cause if you use it (logic and reason) then the bible becomes nothing more then a fairy tale. Does god want me to be stupid or go to hell? What would you choose?

Here is my question... How can someone who KNOWS they are the incarnation of God suffer? If I knew that when I die I would be all powerful and immortal, how could just 2 days of pain out of an ETERNITY of ruling the universe constitute suffering? How was it a sacrifice for god to have his son die if as soon as his son died he came home to rule the universe at his right hand? I see no sacrifice. I see no suffering.

Can someone explain this to me?

Reference: Grenalow Wilson. A child convicted of having sex with another child and currently serving 3 years of a 10 years sentence.

Soon, white children will be subjected to this same kind of nonesense unless sane people work together to stop this foolishness now.

To answer my own question: Those justices are "TERRIFIED" to rule and so delay their (known to me and select others) deision because they know their entire state is somewhat backwards in matters of race.

Every decision is based upon love or fear and is therefore eligible for consideration here.

Agree?

For a time I amused myself watching and listening to bible preachers sunday morning. They would read a quote out of the bible and then tell everyone what it means (what they thought it means). That's just fine if everyone agreed on it but as it turns out if you turn the channel you find everyone going in different directions except that the born again christians just come right out with the donation hotline. If this stuff matters to you and if it matters that you get it right how can you believe that stuff to easy? I guess that IS why born agains are so popular because they just tear out the bible pages that sound confusing and change the wording to what they can comprehend

does he judge our actions? or our intentions? many people kill out of fear-- or defence. Is this ok in God's book? does he judge the effect we have on others-- something we're not even aware of half the time? (eg. if you call someone names and they end up killing themselves, are you -in god's eyes- partly responsible?)
basically, by what criteria does God judge us?

if you don't know. then how can WE judge if anyone's wrong in God's eyes? the ten commandments could be a matter of interpretation.

can you be punished for breaking its laws? say a person's never heard of Christ, because he's been living in a jungle all his life. he's killed, etc. all his life and doesn't have a reason to believe it's wrong. does he go to hell for it? it seems very unfair.
