For Jennifer W :
Use simple logic to examine that link's "information" . Forget what is being argued . Just examine the logic it pretends to express . The reasoning is full of holes and defects . It doesn't hold water !
BTW , Why did God wait so long to "save" mankind ? Why was it so limited that 2000 years after his death some people on Earth still do not have access to the information of the "New Testament " ? Why Doesn't God simply come down now and perform at least ONE world wide irrefutable miracle . Even something as simple as a full regrowth of a human limb that would be witnessed by a world wide panel of 100 experts like James Randi , Dr.Oz , Roy King ,David Copperfield , The Pope , magicians , doctors , debunkers , etc . AND then why doesn't he give us the rules spelled out exactly . Gays or no gays , euthanasia or not , abortion or not , eating animals or not , poligamy or monogamy , purgatory or myth , ... ALL the questions that men of religion and science debate . And why not give mankind a reward ON EARTH for following these rules , perhaps freedom from cancer ,or at least from tooth loss !

Jesus came to seek and to save the lost- what more can we ask. The greatest miracle is that Jesus came to earth to die on the Cross to save sinners, which we all are, and rise from the dead so that we can have victory over sin and death. There is no greater love than someone laying his life done for the sake of another- and Jesus not only died for one person, He died for the whole world- and it is our choice if we accept that payment for our sins or not. God did more than help mankind- he saved it!

If everyone on the planet had a witness of His divinity, there would be no room for faith. That might sound like bull to some of my fellow answerers, but Jesus' ministry was to the Jews, not to the Gentiles. (The concept of sacrifice itself stemmed from the symbolism of Christ's sacrifice.)

I never thought about that before, but maybe He wanted a certain amount of faith, based on believing, not seeing.
I see where you're coming from, but check out this link:

It is very simple. God's ways are not man's ways.
If you try to understand God with human logic you may as well say that everything in the Bible is 100% correct.

eviudently fundies never heard of Saint Thomas--not everybody is going to have faith in foolishness--to quote "miracle on 34th street"--"I believe, I believe, it's silly, but I believe"--that was coming from a seven year old

If one had to prove that God loved us,how would that be done? Our Lord said "no greater love a man can have than that he die to save his friend". I have actually come across a mother who died protecting her children. We our made in God's image.

You shouldn't really question the existence of a God, but the sanity of that God.
