can you be punished for breaking its laws? say a person's never heard of Christ, because he's been living in a jungle all his life. he's killed, etc. all his life and doesn't have a reason to believe it's wrong. does he go to hell for it? it seems very unfair.

No he doesn't. I begin to think this is where the expression 'ignorance is bliss' stems from.

From Paul's Epistle to the Romans ch. 2

12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

BTW, I am not a Christian. But I thought this was probably relevant.

You are in a blessed position in life, learn how to study the bible [ and consider several translations ], as KJV Bible 1611 after Christ published for the world 396 years ago.
Every religion has their beliefs as to what they think the bible means and that is in 1000's, I rather study and when the great teacher comes, give my work to him to be corrected if and where it needs it, so I can teach as many as possible of all before Jesus and before the bible, THE WORD OF GOD as it is the history of the world and all have to know it as such. John 12:47,48;

HOW CAN ANY ONE BE JUDGED IF THEY DO NOT KNOW AND EXCEPT THE WORD OF GOD, THIS IS THE WAY EACH PERSON JUDGES THEIR VERY OWN SELF?

No they should be ok as long as they lived a good life. The bible states that a person that knows right from wrong after reading this book (the bible) is held with a greater accountability for their actions after they die then a person who never learned any better.

Okay...if a person is living in the jungle, there are probably no rules for him to follow. That being said, morality, knowing the difference between right and wrong, does NOT come from religion. Religion and morality are not one and the same. Some of the most morally upright people I know are atheists or agnostics. We don't kill other people because of the social code. Think of it as us being born with the knowledge of right and wrong...the social code states, in simple terms, that "I won't hurt you if you won't hurt me," or "I'll help you because you'd do the same for me." The belief that people who are not religious are somehow immoral is absolutely NOT true. If anything, churches attempted to be born from morality, not the other way around.

"Outside the Church there is no salvation"

846 How are we to understand this affirmation, often repeated by the Church Fathers?335 Re-formulated positively, it means that all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body:

Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.336

847 This affirmation is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church:

Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation.337

848 "Although in ways known to himself God can lead those who, through no fault of their own, are ignorant of the Gospel, to that faith without which it is impossible to please him, the Church still has the obligation and also the sacred right to evangelize all men."338

Most Christian faiths believe that only if the person has had the opportunity to learn Christianity are they bound by its rules. If they haven't heard of it, they are bound by whatever moral laws obtain for their people.

Yep he goes to hell, and i'm not being sarcastic. He could have become saved due to natural revelation. It is our fault as Christians for not spreading the Word. That is why missions is soo important.

Depends on who you ask.

In ancient time, and even more contempory times, it was percieved there were different regions of heaven, hell, and purgatory for such cases.
