If you could join a local group of attendees to a christian church. where are you located? do you happen to read Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.
these are just some tools to Be Like Jesus.
see the practical way of how God wants us to be like Jesus to have a servants heart.
Jesus showed how to humbly be a servant most most of the time without jeopardizing His true identity as God The Son.
you don't need to (Quit your job and stem (beg). Give away your money. Leave your friends and family. Give hungry folk free food?Help sick people free of charge. Hang around with unsavory characters, criticize religious authorities.
Question leaders but pay all taxes asked of you) simply because you won't be able to do so.
if you have a family, do you think losing your job would be a responsible thing to do?
Jesus don't want for your family to get hungry neither leave your friends & family to serve Him.
you have to had a relationship with Jesus to understand this deeper.

,I believe in helping others you help yourself but only to a certain extent. I have a son I have helped all his life he is 33 I now believe I have crippled him. I also have 3 daughters and they are very thankful for all I can do for them.I have done a lot for people in need some I know some I don't but in my heart I know since I can help people with sickness or down on there luck I know I have done alot of good. Jesus did not leave his friends and family but some did leave him. I believe that if you do good to others and your heart is in the right place you are pure of heart. I do not believe in not working that is laziness and to me that is wrong how else can you enable yourself to help others remember Jesus was a Carpenter. No one should tell you who to help or give to that is another thing that must come from your heart. Jesus loved us all but he knew his enemies and in time they betray themselves. You must do what you think is right and feel good about doing it that is the only way to follow his way tiding. But remember, we are all human, for he does .

There are two opposites in the spritual realm. The Lord Almighty who gives to all and takes nothing. Then you have Satan, who conceptually wants to take it all and give nothing.
We human beings are suspended between these two extremes. One is a mountain from which the rain is dispersed to all and sundry around it and keeps no water for itself but gives it all up. On the other side you have the pond, where water collects from all directions and brings in filth from the surroundings and may stink.
Giving is godly. Taking unjustly or beyond your need is ungodly. What Jesus was teaching was symbolically to rise higher. Give more, take as little as possible so you become more and more godly and become The Givers versus becoming the Takers.
The hand of the Giver is always above the hand of the taker. When Jesus was telling people to follow him, he was trying to show them how little is needed for a person in real life. What do I need but a set of clothes, that may get worn out in three years or so. If I live to be ninety, all I need is about 30 sets of clothes in my entire life. If I calculate how much food I need to sustain myself, I will be surprised how inexpensive it is to live. If I did not desire a mansion for me in this life, I could make do with a lot less. If I did not care to impress people who are unworthy of impressing to begin with, I could live frugally and give more to those in need. If everyone or even a vast majority will do that, all pain and suffering will be substantially alleviated from this World.
Jesus was inviting people to learn the path of frugality. Indeed, you do not want to become a burden on others in the name of following Jesus. He had his resources. When he was asking the "rich man" to give up all he got and follow him, he was asking him to be elevated above the material things that were holding him down. To be FREE!!
Ali, the heir, son-in-law of Prophet Mohammad said it best. "Work hard using all the faculties given by the Holy One and accumulate wealth and material gains as if you will never die. Distribute them all to the poor as if you will die tomorrow!
I hope this makes sense to you.

wouldn't it be a wonderful world if every single human did this stuff?
but you've got a couple of things wrong:
1. Jesus never begged.
2. He hung out with his friends all the time and saw his family on a regular basis.

Yes, you should practice what you say.
You are doing it all by yourself and not as a Spirit filled Christian . All this will burn you and the things you want to do will only frustrate you.
Why do you want to do all that things? For the kingdom of God or for your earthly motive?
If it is for the Kingdom of God then you must come in power, Honor and the glory of the Holy Kingdom. This you need the blessing of the Good Lord, but first you must die to this world. (not physically) and rise in the spirit of the Lord. There's more stuff missing and if I were to write, you will only get more confuse and might abandon the things you want to do as above.
If it is for Motive then I would rather you join a Church, they are establish and is good at psychic their followers

Many people like the whole "be like a beggar" routine because it seems dramatic and selfless.
Honestly, Jesus never begged for anything..but did for others.
If you seek to be like Jesus (which you could never be, you cannot heal the sick, needy, etc), then preach about his father, Jehovah God.
Another thing is to follow his words to "treat others like you wish to be treated". Forgive your enemy, love your neighbor, give what you can and do have .. tell others about God and His will.
My cousin hangs around unsavory characters but he's not like Jesus. Jesus didn't associate with them as friends, but he went to them to tell them to "sin no more". He didn't accept their sin, but told them how to please God.
It's my wish that by humbling ourselves and doing good where no one looks, that we are more like our King than anyone else.

i really dont understand. You say your in a home with a rich man. or your cleaning a home of a rich man. well whatever it is i guess you could go get on food stamps until you are able to afford these things. there is always help out there somewhere. maybe go to a food bank that donates food to the needy. Let the rich man know what kind of problem your having and he would most likely help especially if he is rich.

give all to jesus... see him multiply it.. In proverbs it says put your bread on water. you will see it multiplied after many days.. Jesus did not say to all his followers to quit their jobs... nicodemous continued to be a pharisee, Joseph of Arithmea continued as a leader...paul was still a tent maker, priscilla and aquilla contiued in their jobs.. read 1corinthchapter12.. some he's called to be apostles, some teachers, so on not all,,,... but all are invited to follow him whereever we are and whatever we do..give your money do poor but the extra part... when you accept jesus as your personal saviour you'll do it like Zaccheus did atomatically. the holyspirit will lead you into all truth... do not interpret the bible as you like without the holyspirit coz bible is abstact and can be interpreted if you don't study the bible whole.
#####.plz study the bible asa whole book not in parts coz each verse in dependent on a previous revelation given by the Lord############

You are going to have to know your bible very well, and all the history of it. You are going to have to know other religions so that you will know how to prove that your Jesus is the only way, you are going to have to be in very close contact with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I would only quit my job if I know that the Lord told me to. God needs people in the work place to minister to others. We have to tithe so that we can support those that wish to devote their entire lives to mission work. Is that what you are planning on doing?? Remember to Love, I think that is the biggest thing that Jesus did, he loved people. You are going to have to love all kinds of people. Jesus said to lay hands on the sick, and they will recover, Read the last few chapters of the book of Mark. These signs will accomp. those who believe..... In my name they will...... I think you have missed a lot of the things that you are going to have to do. Good Luck, and my prayers are with you. Jesus has a big to do list. The harvest is plenty, the workers are few.
