that you can never lose your salvation and others claim you can.

I thought from a baptist faith that you are told you can never lose your salvation where in christianity if you fall away you basically have to get saved over again.

13 yr old Caucasian boy beaten severly by a group of African Americans for the crime of being white. Caught on tape! This kind of hideous blatant violence based on racism is the sort of thing that Jackson and Sharpton should be all over, right? Can I assume they are on their way to Norfolk, VA to rile up the locals in a protest for peace and equality?

Have you found yourself to be capable of strong friendship with even those very different from yourself? Perhaps opposite philosophic or religious beliefs? Or at least to not be contentious? It seems people find it a badge of honor to stir up as much trouble as possible in opposing groups. Can you have a lively discussion/argument with someone and stay away from ad hominem and condensencion?

In the Old Testament, we see many references to the Holy Spirit being here with us and as the Source of all life and things. Our Father-Son God (Let US make Man in OUR own Image ..., Gen 1:26-27) in and as our Creator Father-Son Jesus Christ, Incarnated (not just merely born a babe with no Deity past-present-future) here as our New Master Teacher. Read now John 16:7-16 and see this additional Gift sent here, Spirit Light flooding down eternally upon all flesh, since AD30. He the Father-Son Spirit of Truth is not the same as The Holy Spirit Bride of Christ. Today, some of the many sect-divided human church members try to put themselves up as being Deity: "The Bride of Christ", the Holy Spirit or the Holy Creative Mother Spirit. "Glorious Father and Mother, in One Deity Parent combined, loyal would we be to your Divine Nature."

With Jesus Christ as our Father & Son Union, can you now see the Holy Spirit as the "Bride of Christ", and not just a few church members or leaders?

God will let a serial Killer, child molester, etc in to Heaven because he or she went to prison and found God. but he will throw people into Hell who have spent their lives living for others, risking their lives for others, doing nothing wrong except a cuss word now and then. And so many people except it. saying thats just the way it is. doesnt something seem very wrong with this picture or is it just me?

i live in a close, and i never say anythin other than the occasional hello, to some of my neighbours, i recently bought another car, like H reg which is 1991. and i feel as though i've committed some sort of henious crime.

i got a really filthy stare from the man downstairs and some vague unwarrented questioning from another man across the road.

wow1 i never a car was such a big deal.

why do people you don't know that well behave like this?
i feel uncomfortable now.

I don't mean to be insulting by posting this question in this group but I really need to get an answer to it. As the result of a bet my GF and I will dress as a pimp and hooker for Halloween she as the pimp & me the hooker. Costume contents were specific hers being all male clothes and mine all female (lacey thong bra see through blouse, tight miniskirt garterbelt stockings heels makeup wig jewelry). My GF says I will need to try stuff on to make sure it all fits and will have to learn to walk in heels. Would you agree with her since we will be in a parade first and then going to a party? If you agree do you agree with her that I will need to try on things like the blouse skirt and shoes over the underware and stockings I will be wearing and that the wig and makeup need to be matched to my face? If you agree can you tell me stores (department, shoe,etc) that would let me try things on & will we need saleshelp? I have never done this before and am nervous but will do it.

Many of you will say that satan is fictional - I understand that. How then, do you explain behaviour that is totally out of character, evil or downright disgusting?

For those who believe that satan or some sort of evil spirit exists, what is your logical explaination to "who" he could be besides a biblical character?

My boyfriend and I are celebrating our two year anniversary next month. Now, we won't be getting married for a while yet (need to graduate college and become financially stable first), but I am a girl, and it is fun to think about.

One thing I know is that we don't want a wedding with any specific religious affiliation. He's an Atheist, I'm an Agnostic/Buddhist, and though I suspect some of my more Christian relatives might raise a stink, I don't want a Christian ceremony. I was thinking it might be cool to do something like a traditional Celtic handfasting to honor my heritage (Irish and Scottish), though we'd have to do something to honor the boy's heritage as well (he's Taiwanese and Italian)...

What do you think? Fun idea for a non-religious wedding?

Some of us, like me, need a little help from make-up, designer clothes, acrylic nails and a good hair style. But damn, don't we look hot all the time!
