Doesn't everyone think they're country is greatest? And how can you say that Britain is the best? We have the worst of everything. The worst laws. The worst kids. This place is gorgeous. The people are not. Its not even safe to walk the damn streets in daylight any more never mind night time.
What happened to the gang of 15 year olds who kicked a 20 year old woman to death in our area because she had no cigarettes when they asked...........................? I hate this place. Nothing to be proud of. Britain is the shittiest place.
Everything is just a mess. Who would REALLY be proud to live HERE?

Well for 1 "Great" Britain proved its poodle-nature through actions of almost 10 year office holder Tony Blair who represented the people of Britain.
No 2. America thinks its great because the whole world lets it think that way!

Well, im not sure if Great Britain is the greatest country in the world, but im tired too of always hearing from americans "omg, we are sooo lucky we are not, like, starving and living on the streets like every other country in the world!" I mean, it's probably cause they are brainwashed from their sh it president into thinking so!

Same reason as everyone else.
The island that makes up most of the United Kingdom is called Great Britain because it's bigger than Ireland. Julius Caesar gave it that name when the English still lived up a tree in North Germany. America is bigger (like their waistlines)

Yes, I've been a visitor to both countries & I agree with you wholeheartedly.
Most of the Americans who claim the US is the greatest dungheap on the planet have not had the experience of leaving their shores - in actual fact most haven't ventured beyond the limits of their hillbilly town, in which they reside.
They don't really have a clue - except for watching CNN every now & again.

Well at the moment I would have to say that England is the best country in the world. If our government joins us to Europe then I would have to say that the USA is the best country in the world. They have a leader that is bit of a dumb *** but at least he loves his country and wouldn't sign a single part of his country away.
