In the Old Testament, we see many references to the Holy Spirit being here with us and as the Source of all life and things. Our Father-Son God (Let US make Man in OUR own Image ..., Gen 1:26-27) in and as our Creator Father-Son Jesus Christ, Incarnated (not just merely born a babe with no Deity past-present-future) here as our New Master Teacher. Read now John 16:7-16 and see this additional Gift sent here, Spirit Light flooding down eternally upon all flesh, since AD30. He the Father-Son Spirit of Truth is not the same as The Holy Spirit Bride of Christ. Today, some of the many sect-divided human church members try to put themselves up as being Deity: "The Bride of Christ", the Holy Spirit or the Holy Creative Mother Spirit. "Glorious Father and Mother, in One Deity Parent combined, loyal would we be to your Divine Nature."

With Jesus Christ as our Father & Son Union, can you now see the Holy Spirit as the "Bride of Christ", and not just a few church members or leaders?

Some more Bibles verses on this, related to "bride," "Lamb," "wife" and "marriage of the Lamb" to carefully peruse and pray for more wisdom:

"He who has the bride is the bridegroom" (John 3:29 and Jer. 2:32).

"Behold the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29 and Isa. 53:7).

". . . for the Marriage (Union) of the Lamb is come, and His Wife has made Herself ready" (Rev. 19:7 and Isa. 54:4-7).

At Ps. 83:18, Jehovah is called the Most High. Jesus is called the Son of the Most High at Luke 1:32. At John 17:3, Jesus called his Father the only true God. So, Jehovah is the God and Father of Jesus.

God is 3 in one, including the Holy Spirit. The bride is the believers.

You need to get yourself a Bible... and read it. Go online and do a search on bride of Christ and see whast you come up with.

Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.
How can the Spirit and the bride say come, if they are the same being?

the bride of christ is the church...made of humans

the holy spirit is not the church....although he guides it....

the bride is not the holy spirit or a "mother"

the mother concept is putting the church on the same level as the father...which is inappropriate

I have never heard of our "Mother as the Holy Spirit "Bride of Christ". Sounds like something out of a movie to me.

The icon of the Mother Mary in Christianity is the pagan Goddess carried over. The early church adopted a lot of pagan traditions and myths in order to make Christianityy more palatable to the tribes being conquered by Rome.

Trying to use logic to understand religious mythology is like using a scalpel to dissect a tree.
