If so, why?

Can anyone provide me with a non-biased, objective link explaining Wiccan symbols?

I see a lot of people making posts about things they are struggling with and thought I would ask if I could say a prayer for anyone. I'm aware that some don't believe in prayer, and that's fine I'm not attempting to "convert" anyone to my faith. If you have something I could help you pray about please let me know. :)

(yes i know i spelled definatly wrong, who cares)

Time after time I have tried to get the "open-minded" Christians to see our side of the story, and failed miserably. So(this is for those of Christians that blame other religions and get annoyed with our presense, u know who u are..) for my next attempt, I am wanting to do a little "step in somebody elses shoes" experiment;

Think about this, You are living in a world full of "non-believers". No matter where u go there are our churches and temples on every street, people going door to door tryin to convert u to a different religion or faith, beatin u up cause u "havent found truth", blamin u for mis-happens and mayhem, wearin our religious symbols freely while u have to hide urs, have laws made against ur faiths beliefs, and bein called "evil" everywhere u turn. How would u feel? Do u think its such a happy and peaceful place?Yeah, i thought not...

Opinions anyone?Comments?

When it was transmitted orally for centuries before it was written down, was translated and retranslated, was edited by kings, presumably has pieces missing, and was written by man who is supposed to be inherently sinful. I have a hard time finding any faith with this piece alone let alone all of the other difficulties I face with it.

I've asked a similar question already, but I have a different idea.

Im trying to start a small business etching personalized mirrors. The catalog I'm working on covers alot of bases, - animals, holidays, travel, and everything in between. One section covers religious images. Instead of calling it religious symbols or religious icons... I was thinking of giving it the heading "Spiritual." Or perhaps "Inspirational."

Would either offend anyone? Which do you prefer?

If you have any take, what would you think of someone with a dime sized birthmark directly on center of their forehead, unlike anyone else? Everything God does is intentional, so what would the birthmark mean? It seems to be a blessing for the person.

If not, why not? And why should we not follow that example? Is god without morals?

Go adopt a special needs child if you want to save someone. Or sponsor a foster family who specializes in special needs children. Save a life, instead of repeating the same old dogma to people who already know it, and will never believe it. Do something that actually does make a difference.

You say there is no such thing as god, or spirits, or anything like that. So then what's the point of all this?

Why do I keep coming back to Mormonism
Well I am a Universal Christian and a lot of people tell me my beliefs are almost the same as the Mormons, but I just want to know more about them and evidence in scripture that can support there beliefs and the book of Mormon.

Serious answers Pleases.

hypotheticlaly, how would you react if you talked to someone online, who insisted they were your variety of christianity(whatever that is)

this sounds fine, until they explain they also belive Jesus's miracles came from the devil, that his power came not from God, but from Evil.

that no matter how you explained that someone who belives that jesus's power was from the devil, could not really be christian, they stubbornly insisted that they were your type of christian and they belived that. and they were telling people that they were compatible.

how would you react? how would you feel? to see people teach that. to take people away from your church with these fundamentally contrary and destructive beliefs, insisting that they don't have to lose their previous beliefs.... when really it is betraying everything they belived in, to accept the other things...

I'm also curious how many people will catch on to what I'm analogizing to.

I am thinking about getting a tattoo of a Latin phrase. It will be along the lines of "I am my own worst enemy." I think I've decided on "Conquer Thyself." So is there anyone that could translate that into Latin for me?

2 Corinthians 3:17
" And the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty"

How do you understand this verse. We know that the Lord Jesus is Who He is in the Trinity. Here its saying that the Lord IS the Spirit.

This other verse in 1 Corinthians 15:45b
" .. The Last Adam became a Life Giving Spirit"
Some versions incorrectly render the word " Spirit " with a common " spirit" which denotes man's spirit. ... but these two verses speak something of the Lord in a way that is not emphasized much...
Share on your feeling on these verses.. Even give any verses to strengthen your sharing:)

I’ve read enough posts by the R&S atheists to make the fair generalization that *most* say there is nothing after death. A common phrase you use is ‘worm food’.

So, what’s the difference between someone certain of a ‘heaven’ compared to someone certain of ‘nothing’?

How can you be certain that no part of your consciousness exists after you die, when you aren’t aware of every aspect of your consciousness?

Sam Harris says we should listen to what the Buddhists have to say about the levels of our consciousness since they have been studying it for 2600 years. This is a tradition of millions of hours of meditation and they tell us a subtle part of our consciousness *does* continue.

They tell us this subtle consciousness will have horrific and/or delightful experiences during death… so what if this is the Christian ‘heaven’ and ‘hell’…?

But I guess my main question is this; isn’t ‘knowing’ we are worm food just another dogma?

The Gospel of Jesus and Old Testament (Torah): "Guidance and Light"

- Sura 2:87 - And most certainly We gave Musa the Book and We sent apostles after him one after another; and We gave Isa, the son of Marium, clear arguments and strengthened him with the holy spirit,

- Sura 3:48 - And He (Isa/Jesus) will teach him the Book and the wisdom and the Tavrat (Torah) and the Injeel (Christian Gospel).
- Sura 3:50 - And a verifier of that which is before me of the Taurat (Torah) and that I may allow you part of that which has been forbidden t you, and I have come to you with a sign from your Lord therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah and obey me.

- Sura 5:44 - "Surely We revealed the Taurat (Torah/Bible Old Testament) in which was guidance and light", with it the prophets who submitted themselves....
