Jesus made that path for us and we no longer have to wait for a Priest..Jesus is our high Priest now...New testament

you refer to a room in a Jewish temple. Only the high priest could go in, and he had a rope tied to his ankle in case he died.! When Jesus died the curtain separating us from that room was torn from top to bottom, signifying that we can go directly to God. The price was paid by Jesus and freely offered to us. If God says come here, I'll go where ever it is.

You would be asking for INSTANT death.
The high priest entered the Most Holy only on the annual Day of Atonement; at no time could any other person go beyond the curtain that hung between this room and the Holy Place. (Le 16:2)

That is your belief and you are welcome to it. I don't share it so I'm not on a quest to find Him. I'll take whatever the afterlife has in store for me and I suspect, if we have any conscientiousness after death, that you will be floating around somewhere saying "this isn't what I expected". I likewise will probably be doing the same as will most, if not all, of us. It's just so hard to imagine going to sleep and not waking up but I'm fairly confident it doesn't involve harps, wings, clouds, choirs or a shining guy sitting on a throne.

I do have one escape valve. Just in case the mind is powerful enough to imagine an afterlife and then in the last instant of life, you live in the destiny you yourself create - every time I see a pretty female - be it an actress, friend, or girl on the bus - I imagine meeting her on a desert island after I'm dead so if we create our own afterlives, I'm on a desert island with every good looking woman I have ever seen, pina colladas, shrimp on the barbie, etc.

the thing that most people don't realize is that Christ IS the tabernacle! so much so that when His side was pierced, the temple veil was torn, allowing us, personally- not just a high priest who represents us- to go directly into the Holy of Holies and boldly approach the throne of God!

sorry if conundrum went the other route...
If the veil was ripped from top to bottom, that means the final sacrifice was accepted and access to the Holy of Holies will never be denied.
Just that many Christians who do not know of this or are unable to go due to ungodliness.

I am already there, it started when I denounced being a catholic doing those things, that my parents forced me to. I am in Jesus today and He is in me.

Depends on which "GOD" and which "HOLY OF HOLIES" you are speaking of. The "true" Father in heaven who is of the holy of holies or that of the ancient hebrew deceivers who use these ancient terms within their books of blasphemy......
