WW I ahve heard this argument repatedly...It is not in agreement with your Qu'ran, If your in doubt how can you ask the people of the book if they are not here wiht you today? Did Allah give you a time machine? Where does the Qu'ran say the Bbile of today is corrupt?
Read all of these suras and tell me please is the Qu'ran contradictining itself...because I ahvent seen this sura only the words of Muslims corrupting the word of their Allah.

Why does the Qu'ran say to say to the people of the book we agree with the revelation handed down to you?
Was this for a time that existed before the Qu'ran? How do you agree with these people of the book if they are dead before you are born?

2007-09-24 16:57:52 · update #6

WW then you are not obeying your Allah unless you are infering that the Qu'ran is corrupt?

Wahid, I thank you for your kind answer, but the truth is revealed to me by God not by my logic and not by any man.
The Isa of the Qu'ran is not the Christ.

Just my input this is not scripture.
I will explain it to you as another lie from those who Wish to promote Islam.
Here is the true verse.

Jere. 8:8 How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.

This verse explains the law is to no efffect if you think that it has made you righteous, the law is to show man his need for God.
This verse is in agreement with the aotnement of Jesus who fufilled the law.
the verse you quote is not in any Bbile it is a twisted verse that is on an Islamic website.
This is the verse as written KJV.

djman, have I told you lately that you are brilliant? Well you are. The Bible is not corrupt as per allah. That means Isaac is the chosen son and has God's covenant. Jesus really was crucified and resurrected.
That would actually make Him the Son of God. The Comforter really is the Holy Spirit and not Muhammad. That's nice to know!

May God continue to Bless you!

Dear djmantx, Jesus was a highly honored messenger of God. You rightly quoted so many verses from the Quoran. Jesus taught his followers the religion fixed by God for human.

He never said people that, he himself will judge people in the afterlife or he will send people to heaven or to hell. He taught people to believe on the only one God who sent him to people as messenger. He said that, he(Jesus) is not God or not son of God. He is human difference is that, he is also messenger of God. He also taught people to obey God's orders. Whoever follows Jesus's teachings are really in right way.

Dear djmantx, you are requested to see the verses about Jesus in the Quoran and compare those with present day bible. Surely, you will find the answer of your question.

I pray to God for you, may God give you sufficient intelligence, knowledge and logic to find out the way that Jesus and all other messengers of God taught human.

The original Gospel as mentioned in the Quran is called the INJEEL.

It was written in Aramaic and has been lost forever.

The New Testament, written in GREEK, is an account of the life of Jesus and his gospel...... written by a dozen or so men many years after Jesus.

It contains many parts of the Injeel but also contains alot of personal opinions of men.........so we do not call it a total loss but we dont consider it infalliable divine revelation.

"How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.'" (Jeremiah 8:8)

I'll get back to you once you can explain to me that verse =/

Peace.

"Indeed this man was the Son of God",these are the words of a pagan roman soldier who witnessed Jesus crucified. Why would he say it if there was a replacement? If you are worthy of Christ you will 'see' Him.
