God teaches us in Romans 1:9:

"For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;"

My question is, how often do you pray for other people?

My fiance tells me nonstop that (basically) Jew's are the best people to ever live. "They're the chosen one's".. they invented more "important stuff".. they are more charitable than any other people.. they are "smarter and have more money".

I've been with her for 3 years, but all of her family and friends give me this vibe. It seems to also be a stereotype to an extent.

I love her to death, but what is this about? Have you ever noticed this?

I am a complete christian now and wasn't before, although God is a far-out idea, I know he exists without a doubt, he has even wok up people from the dead through prayer, and has performed things that definately could not be coincident. I am very open minded, but I know he exists and I have a good relationship with him, what do you think, and by the way yu're a complete idiot if you just all of the sudden without much thought believe he's not real.

do you think that god gives troops or individual soldiers divine protection?
in a way, i can't see god giving some people protection and letting others die by chance.
does being a christian increase your odds of god helping you or protecting you?
If not, does that mean that praying for an individuals safety will probably not bring him god's protection?

:)

no offense

Instead of pushing your belief with kind of 3 in 1 complex, and you know from history that Judaism is older then you... also the people who were blessed by gxd, and you still keep the torah as your set book.

so, why don't you convert to Judaism..

I hate 2 of his songs. One is the pentacostal song, where he opens this door to a cathlic church, and he hears the Lords prayer and he closes the door and says this is the Wrong church. Saying we as the pentacostals never say that dumb prayer. (great seekers eyes). Saying we are all hype and no heart.

the other is a wiches song. He practicaly dames the witch to hell, and does nothing christian in the song, except show him self a weak christian and run away thinking because he could avoid (the temptation of doing evil), thinking he is strong. He should of been strong in the spirit and saved the witch, or invite
her to church. Not run and do nothing but dame the witch to hell. But I guess in some cases you have no choice to bring up hell. But he could have mentioned Jesus to her as a friend to convert her.

but noooo the great seeker has to attack his favorite chrisitain artist.

the rest of this guy is great in my eye's. What do you think of him?

Lighting a Darkness

In the sky, clouds cover the sun.
Darkness arrives, light is on the run.
Shadows tear at enlightened hope,
Hearts begin to break, unable to cope.
Voices cry out for angelic love,
Smoke covers the white of the dove.
Just when blackness seems to win,
Prayer are heard, salvation begins.

My second grade teacher, Mrs. Phillips, god, think Freddy Kreuger meets Nurse Ratchit. She used to shake me so hard, and called me names. The word "peel" was one her kinder condescensions. She had a tress of silvery blue hair piled in a "perma-bun" on her constantly bobbling head and , Superman had nothing on her "coke-bottle" glasses staring as though she were looking for the soft spot in my spine, thus making it easier for her to snap. One time, I went to the restroom, I was eight. I had a pass. Well, little binky started to become "big" binky in the restroom. I didn't know what that meant, but....Mrs. Phillips, who had followed me to the restroom knew. And, you know, to this day, I don't know if she was pleased or angry with me as she proceeded to bat my head about with the pointer she always carried with her.
In retrospect, I would say she was "excited".
Have you ever had a teacher that stayed in your dreams or nightmares, years after school?

To see people from all around the world, and through out history united in a belief that there is a God that loves us unconditionally is just awe inspiring to me. Just Nature's testament to His creation is astounding. Culture, Laughter Family, Sacrifice, Children, The Tiniest Molecules,The Greatest Galaxies, Choice, Change, Experience, Knowledge.... Just a few of the things I'm grateful to have in my life thanks to Him. Even if you don't believe in God for your own personal reasons, can you really be ungrateful to be alive coming from just the one sperm out of millions that joined the egg, the one planet out of the billions around us that is habitable, or just being able to read this question with the uncountable instances you'll have in your life? In any case, I'm not trying to convert anybody with this. I just wanted to say how happy I am to be alive, and grateful to share this with you all! May you all find peace of mind, and True Happiness!!

God Bless!

Has anyone ever asked you if you are "saved"? Some people promote a very attractive idea: All true Christians, regardless of how they live, have an absolute assurance of salvation, once they accept Jesus into their hearts as "their personal Lord and Savior." The problem is that this belief is contrary to the Bible & constant Christian teaching.

Recall what Paul told the Christians of his day: "If we have died with him [in baptism; see Rom. 6:3-4] we shall also live with him; if we persevere we shall also reign with him" (2 Tim. 2:11-12). So, ff we do NOT persevere, we shall NOT reign with him. In other words, Christians can forfeit heaven. Jesus tells us, "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31-46). Ergo, if you do not endure to the end, well........
