To see people from all around the world, and through out history united in a belief that there is a God that loves us unconditionally is just awe inspiring to me. Just Nature's testament to His creation is astounding. Culture, Laughter Family, Sacrifice, Children, The Tiniest Molecules,The Greatest Galaxies, Choice, Change, Experience, Knowledge.... Just a few of the things I'm grateful to have in my life thanks to Him. Even if you don't believe in God for your own personal reasons, can you really be ungrateful to be alive coming from just the one sperm out of millions that joined the egg, the one planet out of the billions around us that is habitable, or just being able to read this question with the uncountable instances you'll have in your life? In any case, I'm not trying to convert anybody with this. I just wanted to say how happy I am to be alive, and grateful to share this with you all! May you all find peace of mind, and True Happiness!!

Yes, God is indeed amazing! To think that He gave His only Son for who, us! When I saw "The Passion of The Christ", I was weeping almost uncontrollably in the theater. To feel and to see all the pain and suffering Jesus went through so that we can have eternal life was truly mind boggling and heartbreaking. It made what happened seem so much more real to me.
Not everyone is a believer and that's okay. But to see all that God has provided for all of us, is truly awesome. God is awesome! I see His beauty in the smallest and the grandest things in life.
Thank you for reminding me just how awesome God really is and all that He has provided for me.

I am quite late in posting an answer, and though there are several folks who agree with you, I am surprised at so many negative answers.
I praise Him and thank Him every day. Jesus Christ's presence in my life makes this life bearable and fills me with joy unspeakable.
And, no, of course we are not blind to the atrocities and hurt in this world. But, we do know that through the tragedies and horrors -- there is still Hope to cling to.
God never said life would be a rose garden. We will "walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death...", but He will always be with us.
That is where our Hope comes from. He is an AWESOME God, and no matter what, no matter what -- God Is In Control.
In that I find strength, courage, and comfort to face another day. He is always with me. I know how it ends -- I read the end of the book -- He (and therefore, we) win.

I admire your bliss. It would be easy to look at: poverty, war, starvation, global warming, destruction of ecosystems, and teh fact that everything that ever lives will or has died, and come to different conlcusions. Most atheists eventually come out with: "If God is so good then why does he allow ...."
The universe is indeed a neat and aweinspiring thing regardless of how it came to be, on that we can agree. Now go out and count some stars and enjoy.

Yes Skyy.. and when I saw your title in my mail I thought of God automatically. Yes HE is amazing. Everything you just mentioned is right on. From one little blade of grass to the rain that falls we have so much to be thankful for. We do have so much to be Thankful for. Like me I dont care what faith you have or how or when you observe that faith but we all believe in that Supreme being. Jesus Christ. He died for us all.. And his Father gave him up so we could live.
