Hi. I'm a mormon from Utah... lol. We're not crazy. :) But all I can recommend is going to one of our churches and attending them like the whole 3 hours (they love visiters! find someone your age or the bishop.), or find the closest missionaries and they will teach you anything you want to know. And you could even get converted to our church like getting baptised! Only if you feel its right. But good luck with our religon. Its not as crazy as it sounds... but its really hard to follow the rules, if you know what I mean. But I know its true, and i've read the whole Book of Mormon on my own I'm so proud of myself. But If your interested go for it!

Read the Book of Mormon and pray about it with a sincere desire to know the truth. You will come to the realization that it could not have been written without God's help. You can request a free copy from the web site noted below.

Go to www.mormon.org. It has some great videos explaining the purpose of life and is a site designed for people wanting to know about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

I think it is interesting how you wrote "Why do I keep coming back to Mormonism?" That is because the Holy Ghost is testifying its truthfulness to you.

Being a member of this church, well it has made everything complete for me. I no wonder who I am, or where I will go after this life. When I learned about the different principals of this church, well everything just made sense. It is like my spirit already knew it from before.

I joined this church when I was 20. I prayed about it after the missionaries gave me a Book of Mormon. I instantly received an answer to my prayer. It was amazing. You really should attend church this Sunday. Just pick a chapel and go. If you want to find out which ward is truly yours, go to www.mormon.org and follow the links. I promise you, it will be the best thing that you have ever done for yourself!!

I attempted, but could not find much information about Universal Christians. So it is hard to compare. The Articles of Faith contain the principal doctrine. Another source that goes into detail is the book Gospel Principles. It is found at
http://www.lds.org/library/display/0,4945,11-1-13-1,00.html

This book has 50 topics and is used to teach new members for their first year.

The core of the church is that it is a Restoration church, not a protesting church. Through continuing revelation we believe that the church was returned to the teaching and principles upon which the original church was founded. We also have further light and knowledge from living prophets.

There are many scriptures that confirm the truthfulness of the Church...Here are some scriptures you might find interesting from
Isaiah 29
11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
13 ¶ Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

The Book referred to is the Book of Mormon...and the marvellous work that is referred to is the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

there are many websites you could go to to find out more information also...the official website of the Church is www.lds.org

To find out more you could also have the missionaries come over and teach you by calling 1-888-537-2200. (and if you would like they can bring you a free book of Mormon or a free Bible or a free video of the Savior)

You could also go visit the Church on a Sunday if you would like - visitors are always welcome ---there is a meetinghouse locator on the official website page listed above.

I would definitely encourage you to learn more about the Church as soon as you can! I love everything about the Church! It is great!

There is only one reason anyone should join te LDS church.

The Book of Mormon.

You either accept it as the word of God, or you don't, but if you join the LDS church for any reason other tan you believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God, like the Bible, and tat you accept that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, then you are going to have problems.

Must be the spirit confirming the truthfulness of the gospel!

You want to know more? Study the scriptures, go to church, read the Ensign, listen to the Prophet and his counselors, PRAY! Praying is probably the most important thing we can do because we are speaking directly to God through His Son. The Holy Ghost will reveal truth to you if you are sincerely and earnestly seeking it.

Um... You're not going to get Mormons only answering this question. Some people just don't know how to respect other people's wishes, and feel that having an opinion means they have to always share it.

Go to this website. www.mormons.org It's the perfect website for people like you who just simply want to know about Mormons. Here you can order a copy of the Book of Mormon. You can even request the missionaries to teach you the discussions and answer your questions if you so desire.

But most of all, ask God.

If you pray with a sincere heart and have Faith that the Lord will show you the way then you will see the proof you need. That being said, sometimes there is a point when we have to stop looking for proof and just let the spirit and our faith guide us. You may be at that point.

If you listen to the spirit, he will guide the way you need to go.

Sounds like the Holy Ghost is leading in a certain direction.

Everything we believed has evidence in both the bible and the Book of Mormon. Someone already stated the scripture about the Book of Mormon coming to light. There are a few more: Isaiah 29:4 And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.
Ezekiel 37:15 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

There are just a few. Here is a site that will list all of them that mentioned in the bible.

Take the advice of all other LDS people who have answered this. Go the churches site, read the info, watch the videos, order a copy of the Book of Mormon. Read it with an open heart and ponder what is written. Then pray about it's truthfulness. God will never lead you astray. If this is for you, you will know it. If you receive that testimony of the Book of Mormon for yourself, you will know without a doubt that the church is true and that the book was written by revelation, and for a greater purpose then was known by even Joseph Smith.

Good luck on your journey!!!!
