His disciples were fishermen, but he also had parables about sheep and goats, etc. He didn't seem to put down the sheep farmers, so would have eaten lamb, goat and/or beef whenever he had the chance.
Plus, his ancester, David, was a shepherd before he got promoted to King.
There was no problem for him to eat meat (although the "Rabbi" was an honorary title, so he didn't do sacrifices himself)
So don't mind killing the fatted calf for a party.

The Bible records Jesus eating fish (Luke 24:42-43) and lamb (Luke 22:8-15).

Yes he did, but he followed the "Old Testament" of the bible meaning that he could not eat "Cloven Hooved" animals, water creatures without fins and scales, no goat, pork, no shrimp, no clams...
OH, and no Foul with "More then two legs". (Don't ask me what species THAT is! LOL!)
So yeah... He ate a standard Jewish diet of fish, beef, fish, veggies, wine, ale, excreta!
If you want to know what is and is not allowed in the Jewish diet then read Leviticus in the bible.
VERY surprising!

Of course he did;-} what do you think the Last Supper is?
They roasted a fresh-killed lamb, without breaking any bones.
They also shared bread & wine, with bitter herbs.

Yes, he did. So now it's OK for you to eat meat.

Beef and lamb at festivals and religious rituals, and otherwise, fish, bread, nuts, figs, dates, wine.

As a rabbi, he would have participated in a number of rituals involving - essentially - slaughter and barbecue. What do YOU think?
