I have always been interested in learning a language, possibly Latin, Polish, or Gaelic, and I have heard that college classes don't really help and the Spanish class I took earlier in high school, I passed, but retained nothing from. I am seventeen so it is kind of late for me to be learning a language but does anyone have any advice on the best method?

Do we say

'A man whose work is to amuse others is an entertainer.'
or
'A man whose work it is to amuse others is an entertainer.'

I have been using the first sentence but an online English test shows the second as the correct answer. Have I been wrong all the while or do both sentences work?

Also, does anyone has a good site to recommend for getting expert answers on questions pertaining to the English Language?

Thanks!

I am feeling kind of lonely. I just recently became a Christian and I am feeling lonely because I use my mind for the glory of God and nothing else. Is there anyone else that can identify? How did you overcome your thoughts and focus on the heart?

Madrassa-style?

Or do you only vouch for teaching "Christian Religion" at public schools?

Would you as Christian teachers mind if your students had to kneel towards Mecca at prayer time?

Would you approve of having Imams calling to prayer through the school's loudspeakers?

Why or why not?

the fact that George W. Bush won two presidential elections? He ran several small businesses into the ground, had a shady military record, and (let's face it) has sub-par intelligence.

Who else besides an all-powerful entity could have intervened to make this man the president?

The religious experience is meant to be something that affirms one faith within a certain religion, these may be things like, hearing God's voice in your ear, seeing an angel, feelings of pure happiness and fullfillment while praying and seeing the light at the end of a tunnel. However if all of these were to affirm a specific religion, then why do so many people all over the world in different religions all experience thier own specific experiences with their God/religion? I mean surely they cannot all be correct, and most probably they are not. It doesn't make sense, they only logical steps are that either: All religious experiences are only delusions in the mind; or that there is something that is trying to trick people away from a central God. However! Following along with that later point, most religious experiences are feelings of extacy, love, and happiness, a deep sense of belonging, so if an evil being is doing this...how are we to ever know which religion can

P1. Everything that exist has a limit.
P2. The limits of things that exist, Gives existing things an Identity.
P3. Everything that exist has an Identity.
P4 God is said to be a limitless being.
P5. God has no Identitiy,
Conclusion, God does not exist.

When I say I exist, there are billions upon billions of things that I`am not!
I was not born in Tehran, I do not have red Hair, I was not born in the 2nd century, I`am not a women etc..... etc... etc...
When one compares our limitations to the things we are, We get our identity.
I`am 25 years old. My hair is brown, I`am a black man etc... etc...

To talk of limitless beings and/or things is to talk of "Nothing." Nothing does not apply to anything. It has no limitations. Everything that does exist (Trees, Animals, Plants, Humans), has many limitations. Therefore to say that God is a limitless being, one is suggesting that God is "Nothing.

I was wondering if it was a sin to join a fraternity in college. I was thinking about going for it, it seemed like a good way to make connections and friends and since it would be an NPHC organization, I would learn to step and everything. I had been reading about people saying they have cultist practices, and worship idols and the like, but from the members I've met; it seems they are all Christians. Even the preachers son at my church was in one. So do you all think it is a sin or are people just going overboard with their judgements?
