Oil is created by decaying matter over a period of many years. Oil is found all over the world. One of the largest finds in the United States was in Mississippi . The oil found in Texas is probably better known.

The sand isn't heathen, the people are. Maybe this was Gods way of telling us that we really need each other and we are going to have to learn how to live together.
