the fact that George W. Bush won two presidential elections? He ran several small businesses into the ground, had a shady military record, and (let's face it) has sub-par intelligence.

Who else besides an all-powerful entity could have intervened to make this man the president?

Easy, can you see Santa the tooth fairy, easter bunny any of those story tales you are made to believe as a kids and then have it all ruinded when you are older;

It was not divine intervention it was the way our political system is designed where electoral votes matter more than mass population votes.

We need to over haul our voting system it was designed in an era when most could not write or even read. that is what we should do is wipe the rules clean and start them from scratch on how we vote for our officials IMO.

So no It was not god, it was lawyers and such, and the word god and lawyer in the same sentence is a oxymoron!! lol.

Who else but 'god' could have intervened?

Big Oil lobbying can deliver miracles especially when you already have a population of whom 90% are Xians and 65% believe in Creation - I mean - really how stupid can you get?

When you have a population that gullible you can sell them anything if you throw enough money and lies at it.
There are still millions of USians who believe Bu$h had a better war record (he was a coward who went *AWOL for the Vietnam War) than John Kerry.

Who else? How about right wing Christian Dominionists? How about a huge population of mentally challanged believers who care much more for ignorant superstition than for truth? God didn't elect George W. Bush to the Presidency -- but millions of deluded believers did.

...as is their perfect right, I must sorrowfully add.

So you believe your God backed George's election? Interesting. So does this mean he has been using Bush to gain control over the Muslim world?

Not to mention tiny Bush killed Goliath Saddam. Long live Christians. To the chagrin of atheists God is always behind us.

It was Satan who rigged the 2000 and 2004 elections, with generous help from Diebold and Karl Rove...

How do I explain it? Stupid Christians that don't think with their brains, and think with their religion instead. What the Christians saw was "Christian president that will further the cause of Christianity" rather than "complete Christian moron using the Christians for their votes".

They've been brainwashed from infancy to follow the leader if the leader says he's Christian. Their stupidity is showing.

If God exists and is responsible for Bush winning the elections, it raises serious questions about whether He is benevolent.
