Was Paul proclaiming to them Jesus as the unknown God? Acts 17:23 says, "For as I passed by and beheld your devotion, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him I declare I unto you."

The bible says there is ONE GOD, not 3 Gods in 1 God.

You accuse them of being judgmental when all they are doing is giving you their view based on the bible. For instance, someone asks about going to hell. We give an answer based on what God states in the bible about who and who will not go to hell then you blame us for that answer when in fact it is merely what the bible says. That is not being judgemental. That is answering your question. Agree?

I don't know if you've been paying attention to my questions on religion or not.
Most folks out here, (not all) do not, will not, almost flatly refuse to let us believe what we want to believe.
For some reason, there is NO RESPECT for the other guy's or gal's beliefs.
And on a heads up folks, I am not christian. But I'll defend your right to believe in whatever your heart desires.
It's called "Freedom of Religion."
Welcome to the United States of America.

Say for example there is a piece of toilet paper in the bowl. You flush and it doesn't go down unless flushed multiple times. Sometimes the bowl doesn't even refill its self as much as it should. Also, the water doesn't go down as quickly as it should

I argued in a previous question that my faith in science is justified. I gave a whole bunch of examples of how science has improved my life while God has done nothing to improve my life. Some guy said that God is not commended to give me anything that I want. Well here is my responce to that. Science is not commended to give me anything either. The difference between science and God is that science actually does give me what I want.

There are three girls on the bus every morning saying "something/somebody stinks" they never say it at the same time of course. they don't know each other.

but they start to sound like a broken record after a while and a lot of people "not even real friends" say that there is no one musty but the girls say it any way. And then to new guys just starting high school this year gets on the bus and the girls say the same thing. How can I make them shut up. because every 15 minutes they have to say it. and if some one do stink don't they have a brain to move away from the person. but they will stay there and pick. and every time i say something "its none of my business" they say and we are about to fight because one of them likes an audience.

One more thing it also made me mad to hear this girl say (out loud) "Some body stinks i'd be disrespective if i did say any thing"...Don't you suppose to bring the person to the side and tell them they have an oder? I mean c'mon...

into heaven. I have experienced multiple losses in the last few years, starting in 01 when my brother died suddenly in a motorcycle accident. I've been struggling with greif during this time. I've read some books that helped somewhat but the main thing that hangs over me like a cloud is my brother and I'm not sure where he is. The books never address this. There is guilt that I didn't talk to him enough about the plan of salvation and see where he was. My sister thinks he made it because they went to church together as children on a church bus. My dad was an atheist and my mom wasn't a Christian at that time. They are 9 & 11 years older than me. She is a Christian and goes to church. He didn't go to church and there are other reasons that I question if he was a Christian also. I welcome advice from anyone who has experienced a similar situation in helping to deal with this. Thank for your time. God bless

It confuses me. The bible tells you to do some ridiculous things, and I think we can all agree there. For instance, the bible claims that working on Sunday is punishable by death:

Exodus 35:2 – " For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death."

So, if you're going to back up your "I hate gay people cause the bible tells me to" nonsense, shouldn't you die for working on a Sunday?

People back up their hate with the "bible", yet I'm sure they will work on Sundays. Can you honestly think this is justifiable if you're not even going to believe the entire book?
