I guess that cheap is in the eye of the beholder. Many of the techy features available on the Toyota hybrids can only be found otherwise in the Lexus line.

There's a reason that the side & side curtain airbags are now standard, rather than optional!

I just got a Prius. My husband has a Camry and the Prius is actually a bit roomier. I had a Honda Odyssey and love the gas mileage and sportier car. My battery warranty is 7 years. There are Prius' being used as taxis and have over 200k on the batteries. I wouldn't worry about it. I think that any dealership will want to sell any car on the lot. If you can't qualify for the Prius, you won't probably be able to get the Rav either. I love my Prius. It drives terrific, handles perfectly and the gas mileage cannot be beat.
