I argued in a previous question that my faith in science is justified. I gave a whole bunch of examples of how science has improved my life while God has done nothing to improve my life. Some guy said that God is not commended to give me anything that I want. Well here is my responce to that. Science is not commended to give me anything either. The difference between science and God is that science actually does give me what I want.

If being given what you want is what you are after then it appears you've made a good choice. However ... one might want to consider that science is also learning and reappraising the 'evidence' and discovering ever more.

The truth is that God and science are not mutually exclusive. Only with erroneous fundamentalist beliefs does this happen.
God is the orginal scientist. He works still to advance the knowledge and power of science on may levels.

In the end, I have no doubt that science will save us, with God's help!

not sure what you are saying but i do know that Darwinism has been proven wrong by the Flagalluim(not sure how to spell that) its something in peoples bodys that if you take ONE little thing from it it will be all scrwed up. so then evolution is wrong because if it was right then the flagalluim would be able to evolve but it cant. Darwin said something along these lines, If there is something that can not evolve then my whole theory is wrong.

Think about it.

Hey, I am a Muslim.

I have a lecture for everyone who wants proof of Almighty God. It is by the brilliant Muslim scholar, Dr. Zakir Naik. He proves Almighty God’s existence by using some of the many scientific verses in the Qur’an. Scientists are recently discovering these facts, but they were already in the Qur’an 1400 years ago! Please listen to the lecture. It is worth your time.

It's a good point.

but i'd suggest that the only reason to even enter the R & S section is to refute the "god-on-the-brain" types when they accuse us of being stupid.

And in this case, you did just that. Be content. I don't think anything more can be accomplished here.

Science can't cleanse your sins from you and grant you eternal life. You're looking for the type of happiness which lasts for a moment and then passes away..not a wise choice in God's eyes.

So, you think it's all about you? That's your problem right there. Your attitude. It's not all about you, and what you want. It's about God, and what he wants. If you can't handle that, then maybe you are better off with deciding not to be a christian.

Good luck.

Have you accepted Christ? If not, how can you expect anything from him? And even so, God doesn't always give you material things, God will give you eternal life and spiritual things.
