Where does God take up residence now?
How much power do our words have?

Polygamy involving each woman having as many husbands as mutually agree?

This was practiced informally during the 60s commune times in the US. I've never seen any insurmountable problems with the concept on a spiritual basis.

Naturally, the woman and her husbands would have to co-habit without a formal marriage contract to remain legal.

Pagans only please. Serious answers only.

they are one as the disciples are one.
John 17:6-19

they are one as believers are one.
John 17:20-26

so i guess that makes all believers one being. and all disciples one being too.

John 17:21
"that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. "

notice the term "just as". meaning in the same manner. so how does the meaning of this keep changing depending on what you want to believe...?

is the one who convinced Adam to eat the apple? Out of all the stories in the Bible these are the ones that bother me the most. It all sounds conveniently sexist doesn't it? Man came first and woman was created from man...woman then succumbs to temptation and drags man down with her...

It did not explain what the violation was but it was a question about a song. I felt posting a song question on senior citizens to be appropriate because it was aimed at the senior citizens who would know the answers. Other than that, I can see no reason. The question started "Seniors, you have to remember" and I am unable to even research my question because it was deleted. Would you kind people on this site help me? I am afraid to send any more song lyrics to this site.

Who is like Criss Angel? I have seen his signs and his power. Do you know that he fulfills the prophecies of the ancient Hebrew texts?

He isn't some phony from a book, you can actually SEE his power. He ACTUALLY walked on water. Who is like Him?

Who can compete with Him? No other men on earth can compare to his power.

I would rather follow him than someone from a book who most likely never existed.

God ordered Eve NOT to eat the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. If the Serpent had not persuaded her to eat the fruit, mankind would not know right from wrong, making democracy impossible! A population that doesn't know good from evil can't govern itself because its laws couldn't distinguish good guys from bad guys.

The Serpent is a bigger American hero than George Washington!

Simple:
His dad is white.
How do we know that?

Because God is an American.

How do we know that?

Because would God NOT be a member of the best country in the world? Come on...

Don't worry, though, if you're not white. Jesus isn't racist.

What, for you, is the hardest thing about being a Christian? What rules are hard to follow? What about God and his ways are hard for you to accept or doesn't seem to make sense?

Thanks.

I do not have that choice, you see, The Bible explicitly warns that Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable and that Hell is a real place where people who do not believe will burn for awhile and then all evil will be annihilated, to include people who went to Hell.

If I allow myself to listen to atheists or skeptics, I may slip into blasphemous thoughts, so I must not give place to the Devil at all and stay as far away from trying to reason - as possible.

When I read things that seem to go against my faith, I immediately stop and pray, "Jesus, i love you, Jesus i love you, Jesus i love you..." and walk away from it as the Bible commands, so that I will not go to Hell.

I dropped out of colege also because they were teaching evolution.

Please give me intelligible answers.
What are you going to think/say/do if when you do die, you find out there really is a God and a Heaven and Hell.
What would you think?

Please think about it, thanks.

Remember the story about Jesus telling the Rich man to sell everything he owned and give to the poor? In Acts of the Apostles people were told to sell everything they owned and give it to the poor because they were going through a terrible famine and time of poverty. Is it ok to have lots of money, multi-million dollar home, valuable possession adn be a Christian? Is it ok to be a celebrity and be a Christian? The term celebrity comes from celebrate. If you know and allow people to idolize you as a star does that set a good image for Jesus Christ? I ask this because there are some in the sports and entertainment business that profess to be Christian.
