It did not explain what the violation was but it was a question about a song. I felt posting a song question on senior citizens to be appropriate because it was aimed at the senior citizens who would know the answers. Other than that, I can see no reason. The question started "Seniors, you have to remember" and I am unable to even research my question because it was deleted. Would you kind people on this site help me? I am afraid to send any more song lyrics to this site.

Maybe they thought that you were insulting seniors by the "Seniors, you have to remember" part. Like we all have dementia or something! LOL
I don't know what's up with Yahoo! But if it makes you feel any better, you aren't the only one that they pick on.
I posted a question that I knew was wrong. Three people answered, then I deleted the question. A week later, after I did it myself, I got a violation notice. You can't win!

Try posting your question again only word it a bit differently.
Not that you worded it badly before but the Ogre @ yahoo sometimes tosses out violations for no reason.
Other then that, I wouldn't worry about it. It will not affect your future in any way.

Don't feel bad, I got a violation by someone in this category for asking a ? ABOUT ANIMALS. The new ya hoo method of dealing with these people should help, I hope.
