The trinity is a mystery so we can never totally understand it. The Father, Son, and Holy spirit are united as One God in three persons. They are united in love. Jesus says, "I and the Father are one." Jesus recieves everything the Father has and so does the Holy Spirit.

Here is a little something from the link I posted below on the equality of power of the trinity.

I answer that, The Son is necessarily equal to the Father in power. Power of action is a consequence of perfection in nature. In creatures, for instance, we see that the more perfect the nature, the greater power is there for action. Now it was shown above (4) that the very notion of the divine paternity and filiation requires that the Son should be the Father's equal in greatness--that is, in perfection of nature. Hence it follows that the Son is equal to the Father in power; and the same applies to the Holy Ghost in relation to both.

The flaw is in your analogy. We are created in the image of God.

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 1 explains God said let US create man in OUR image.

Genesis 2 shows how man is created from the dust (flesh)
God breathed life into him (spirit)
and man became a living soul (soul)

God created man above the animals more than flesh which returns to dust but with an eternal spirit.

Jesus is God in the flesh and as we struggle with our fleshly desires he depended on the Father in heaven as we are to put our flesh in submissioj to our spirit he too was in submission to the Father in heaven.
We too struggle with our flesh, Have you ever heard the spirit is wiling but the flesh is weak? Have you evercome a temptation for your flesh?
God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. ONE God.
Man is flesh, spirit and soul ONE man.

There is no perfect analogy of God. The Bible does say man is created in this image of trinity so the best I can do is offer this one.

God the Father, Jesus the son and the Holy Ghost are 3 separate beings. They are one in purpose and behavior only. That is why they don't talk to themselves, they are talking to each other.

Perhaps because the things you have in common end there. He knows what you don't know, listens to what you can't say and hears what you don't hear.

A flaw in your analogy, no? Just another stupid yahoo question by some ignorant father, son, brother combo.

Unfortunately for you (But fortunately for us), you are just a man, not a god. In consequence you do not come under the heading, Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

god just want to show us,that a father loves his son much...a father shows good way to his son, when he lost his way....

jesus has told that we r the son of one father ,
he wanted to tell us that we should not fear from any problems bcoz our father is taking care of us...

just think normally,ur father & my father takes care of u & me..its like that...

and one other thing, that god can exist in many personalities,..
he could come himself, but he came as son, bcoz he wanted to show the wonderful relation between father & son...so that we can understand very well..

Why would you need to talk to yourself? God has one single purpose, and 3 forms of the Godhead. You know there is a big story and explanation to this you have to read that is far too onerous to explain here. We are all spirit, body and, soul, do we need to communicate this to ourselves? An egg is shell, white and yolk, but still an egg!
