You say that you believe that the Bible is true and that you base your doctrine on it. How can you than believe that Jesus isn't God when, among other verses, we have in Titus 2:13

while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,

Here is a passage from Newsweek article
"Muslim American advocates have critiqued the press coverage of the Pew study, saying it focused too much on the bad news and not enough on the good. The bad news, however, bears repeating: 26 percent of Muslims age 18 to 29 believe that suicide bombing can be justified. Thirty-eight percent of that group believe that Arabs did not carry out the 9/11 attacks. These data, combined with the rising religious conservatism of young Muslim Americans, have led some experts to argue that differences between Europe and America have been overblown, that affluence and education do not inoculate a society against radicalization. "This idea that all those who are middle class are exempted from extremism has always been false," says Geneive Abdo, author of "Mecca and Main Street." "The leadership of the extremist movements have always been highly educated Muslims."

this question has to do with superstition and folklore.
I have heard both - that a crow traveling above or around you means good luck - and then just the other day i heard it was bad luck (according to the movie 'The Crow')

- when they quite clearly are not? No Jewish person believes that Jesus was the messiah.

If you believe that, then of course I respect your faith - but you are Christian, not Jewish.

The very term 'Messianic Jew' is a contradiction!

It seems like few people have empthy anymore. For instance I notice that alot of answers on here seem so sarcastic instead of trying to help each other, and it's everywhere you go. I know it is a lot easier to make fun instead of trying to understand someone's problems. We are all here on earth together, why do we wan't to make things harder for one another? It's not like I am perfect but when I do or say something that might have hurt someone I try to make it right again. I was told when I was young I would feel different when I was older. I am now fourty and still feel the same. I know I can't change people, but If we could all just try a little more it might make a difference. Thanks for listening. Does anyone feel the same?

i moved in, in august....
On the third week all of the sudden we had fleas ..
but NO pets...
She said it was my fault that i brought the fleas in... she was having a bad reaction to them.. it didnt help she wouldnt stop scratching... as soon as we found that out we agreed to do some kind of raid treatment.. and i told her what we needed.. and when she went to the store she only wanted ALCOHOL...i went out and bought the carpet spray.. and then had to bassically drag her to the store to get the bug bomb..
meanwhile she thought i was laughing at her because my face was in disbelief that we had FLEAS and no PETS..
She Said "would it be funny if i had to go to the hospital, and you had to pay the bill" i told her i wasnt laughing at her!!! But an argument started anyway..
After we put the bombs she had a problem with my housecleaning... and i agreed i would change these certain things.. then the flea thing was still my fault so there was another argument

The fact of the matter is that the majority of Christians have no problem what so ever with the theory of evolution. The only Christians who really oppose the theory are the Baptists and a few other protestant Christians. Protestants represent the minority of Christians in the world. Ironic that Protestants refer to Catholics as a cult when the Protestants are the minority. Catholics, which make up the VAST majority of Christians in the world, have absolutely no problem with the theory. There's a hell of a lot more Catholics who support the theory of evolution than there are atheists, so maybe you creationists should be whining to the Catholics instead of us atheists. I mean come on. Less than 1% of the U.S. population is atheist. You are not going to convince me that less than 1% of the population could beat the vast majority of Christians politically, unless the majority of those Christians had no problem with the theory themselves.

As I understand it, religious institutions enjoy tax free status & unswerving support from pandering governments so I think it's time I got my slice. The thought of a bunch of people coming around to my house every sunday morning, sitting down & letting me tell them how they should live & then emptying their pockets into a collection plate before going home is enough to make me clutch excitedly at my groin & squeal with joy. This is almost as brilliant as the GST our government thrust upon us. I swear to make it a firm but fair religion & I will adopt a zero tolerance policy toward any funny business within the ranks of my ministers.( or godlets, as I plan to call them)

I didn't like this before. You know the Bible said that Homosexuality is wrong. And I thought it was stupid. But Lately, I believe in heaven and Hell. And I suddenly start wondering 'Than Is bible right? THere's a really God exist and If I sleep with other men than I'm gonna go to the hell?'

Man. I really wanna have sex with other men but I'm afraid to do it? What should do? Just keep my virginity? And How did this happened?

And If you think bible is wrong. Then show me something That I can trust. Not that 'Gay or not god still love you.' thing. Oh and not the one 'Who know? Some who wrote the bible was homophobic?' They all just guess.

I don't like the idea of a troll patrol. They send each other IM's with information on who to report.?

I belonged to it myself for a couple of hours and I removed myself because I am not a police nazi.

I think these people should be reported. Why do they feel that their opinions are the only one's that can be voiced and some others should br eliminated?

What do you think?
