-I believe in creation by God, that's why I'm curious as to what others think.
-If you say the "Big Bang" I ask, where did the materials for the explosion come from, if there was nothing in existance yet?
-if you think it was just always there, floating around in space, explain on that a little please, because I just don't get that theory.

Here are three scriptures which describe the HYDROLOGIC CYCLE. Science did not know of the hydrologic cycle in biblical times.

Psalm 135:7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

Ecclesiastes 1:7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

Isaiah 55:10 For just as from the heavens the rain and snow come down And do not return there till they have watered the earth, making it fertile and fruitful, Giving seed to him who sows and bread to him who eats

I hate it when people use pervert in a pejorative context or tone. Do we not all enjoy the female form in it's most pure fashion. We all have seen the female nude and have enjoyed it greatly.

Even the Vatican has female nudes so one could conclude that their Holinesses throughout the centuries enjoyed the female nude.

Therefore why do we Puritans, we Americans use pervert in a pejorative tone when we are all perverts? The Europeans better appreciate the female form than do us stiff shirt Americans. We are most guilty of cramming it full of sweets and iced cream while showcasing it in a pair of baggy sweats.

What can be done of this? How can we reform our American ways of covering up the female form like a Muslim nation would?

The definition of pervert from the dictionary is as follows:

1. corrupt morally or by intemperance or sensuality; "debauch the young people with wine and women"

Why can we not revel in their beauty and showcase it as the Europeans have done?

And nuns.
Why can't they have a spouse/family? Please don't say the congregation is the family.

Suppose you are 'unequally yoked' - you and your spouse have different religious beliefs. Suppose also, that when you got married, your spouse held a religious label but was in all other ways nonreligious. Later in life your spouse' religion became very important to your him/her.

Which is more selfish?

1) demanding that your spouse, of different religious beliefs, accompany you to your services regularly

2) you refusing to participate in your spouse' religious activities, but still allowing your spouse to raise the kids according to his/her religion

Some of you may remember me asking about my needy neighbor knocking on my door. He has not knocked in one week and I have done some inner searching during that time. I decided I may have issues with wanting to control things. I also do not speak up enough. I did some reading and learned not to offer advice if I don't have to. For example, yesterday my neighbor was sitting in his truck in 95 degree weather because he was waiting for the condo manager to come back so he could drop off his new lease in person. I wanted to offer advice such as dropping it into the mail slot so he wouldn't be waiting in such hot temperatures. I bit my toungue and did not say a word. My point is I think I offerred too much advice to him in the past and thus am partially responsible for him wanting to talk to me so much. Thanks to everyone for helping me see this.

I am told to read the bible and become more sure in my faith. And I am told that the bible is the true inerrant word of God. I have been reading Leviticus and am troubled by how I can relate what I see in the world around me - i.e. that insects I have seen have six legs and use all of them to walk yet the bible say they walk on four.

Leviticus 11:20
'All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be detestable to you.

A friend and I drank last night. Toward the end he said I had to take 2 more shots. I told him I would if he kissed me. He kissed his hand and then put his hand on my lips. I told him no, kiss me on the lips. He did it. I was a small quick peck non-romantic but still a kiss. When I told him I'm gay, he just said "**** you" but didn't react physically. So, I just told him I was kidding. What do ya think?
