No. He's not. He loves unconditionally.
It's His followers -- notably fundamentalists -- who are into hate in a big way.

No, I strongly doubt it. I know some very religious people that are gay, and they said that God helped them every time when they needed Him.
The church is generally opposed to homosexuality because it's a conservatory institution and homosexuality is something new in the way that it became public and legal after many centuries in which it was a more "underground phenomenon" . The last time when homosexuality was legal in Europe was probably in the time of THE ROMAN EMPIRE.

I think many of God's followers are homophobic, including some of the -men- who wrote the bible.
But if God is nothing but love, then no, I don't think he would be.

Of who's God are you speaking?
My God, of MY understanding, makes no judgements.
Judgemental, intolerant, ignorant, people say "God" is homophobic.......

you better hope you are 1000 percent right about something before you start telling us what God thinks!
i'd say he's getting pretty tired of people telling other people what he thinks

No, I don't.
But there are some people in the established churches that would like us to believe that, to justify their own hate.

Since the recently coined term "homophobic" implies an irrational fear, or phobia, then no, God is not homophobic, for he fears nothing and his rationality is perfect.
Nevertheless, God opposes all extramarital sex, including men performing sex on other men and women performing sex on other women. He designed sex to express the extraordinary intimacy of married love, and to allow married couples to share in God's creation of new human beings.
Marriage is designed as a lifelong, monogamous, sexually exclusive relationship in order that new humans, who take about two decades to mature, have a stable, loving, and educating home with both parents. Any sexual coupling outside of marriage (adultery) destroys the married relationship, and casual sexual coupling before marriage makes a person less capable of the sexual exclusivity essential to a future marriage.

Considering he didn't make sexual orientation a choice. No. Also homophobia is a sin, and as they say, he doesn't sin.
