I hate it when people use pervert in a pejorative context or tone. Do we not all enjoy the female form in it's most pure fashion. We all have seen the female nude and have enjoyed it greatly.

Even the Vatican has female nudes so one could conclude that their Holinesses throughout the centuries enjoyed the female nude.

Therefore why do we Puritans, we Americans use pervert in a pejorative tone when we are all perverts? The Europeans better appreciate the female form than do us stiff shirt Americans. We are most guilty of cramming it full of sweets and iced cream while showcasing it in a pair of baggy sweats.

What can be done of this? How can we reform our American ways of covering up the female form like a Muslim nation would?

The definition of pervert from the dictionary is as follows:

1. corrupt morally or by intemperance or sensuality; "debauch the young people with wine and women"

Why can we not revel in their beauty and showcase it as the Europeans have done?

Being Americans, we have the freedom to dress how we wish, do we not? I, for one, do not like wearing a dress, pantyhose and pumps all day along with makeup. It's all about being practical and relaxing and one's inherent femininity is not affected at all.

I think you're talking about two different issues. First is the use of the word "pervert" and second is our attitude toward nudity.

The verb "pervert" means to twist or use for a purpose other than that intended, and with a bad motive. The noun "pervert" would be a person who does such a thing. This is actually the opposite of what you want. You want female nudity to be seen as normal and people who like to stare at the female form to be called normal, not perverts. So with respect to "pervert" I think you're going down the wrong track.

With respect to splattering nudity all over the place I have two concerns. First, when you overexpose a thing it becomes less desireable. It stops having its desired effect. That's why your taste in pornography goes from bikinis to topless to full frontal to explicit sex acts to "perverted" sex acts etc. If you're not far down that road yet, wait.

It's way more enjoyable to appreciate the nude form of your partner in private than to have every other billboard and storefront feature nudity.

The second problem with this more "open" attitude about nudity is that it objectifies women. You express it well in your question: You talk about "the female form" and "the female nude". Where's the interest in the person who is wrapped in the skin you want to look at? If I was female I'd be offended by your objectification of women. It's no wonder you have to look for your sexual gratification through public displays of nudity; you probably have trouble getting a date. :-)

Pervert is to twist something out of it's intended use.

There is nothing wrong with nude people. It is the heart of those looking at them that causes the problem.

The scriptures (in USA presently) have been 'wrongly divided'; despite 2 Tim. 2:15).
May I also suggest, that you apologize to female viewers as the comments are female nudity only.

Unfortunately, the puritans were kicked out of England and settled in the US. Wish we could send them back!!!

I would love to answer a question, only your "question" seems more like rambling. What are you asking?
