We do have to go to the bathroom when we're out in public, you know. :o) Seeing people not wash their hands kinda icks me out. I know darn well that employees in restaurants don't always wash their hands, either. Isn't that a pleasant thought? >_<

Yes sometimes using public restrooms are unavoidable. I think that if some of those people could see their hands under a microscope they'd never bolt out of the bathroom without washing their hands again.

I'm not athiest, but if I see someone leaving the restrooms w/o washing their hands, I think "Yuck".

I don't wash my hands in the restroom, but I do use hand sanitizer afterwards. I don't trust the sinks in public places to be much cleaner than my hands.

excuse me, but I am missing your point, why do you address the question to Atheists ? should a Christian or Jew have a different reaction ?
And you should stop flossing with your thongs... not a good idea.
SHEMUS, you atheists arrogantly assume you are smarter than believers, you are not. If you have statistics pointing to atheists being smarter than believers, I would like to see the data.
Out of hand categorical rejection of any hypothesis (including god hypothesis) in the absence of a concrete and scientific PROOF to the contrary is an arrogant act of intellectual bias and prejudice. Those who reject the god hypothesis out of hand without a concrete proof are committing just such an act (I am assuming you are NOT in a possession of a scientific PROOF god does not exist).

I saw a Wendys employee leave the restroom without washing their hands the other day. Fortunately, I wasn't eating there, I was just using the restroom

Whatever one's beliefs or lack of beliefs, failure to wash one's hands when leaving a restroom is unsanitary. Anyone may need to use a public restroom, unless he never leaves home. What is your point?

No, I don't trust public restrooms. If I see anyone leave without washing their hands, I don't go anywhere near them.

It's great to see all the fruit loops showing their complete ignorance of everything here. It really boosts my self-esteem, now I realise I'm only a little wacky compared to this lot.

You might as well ask "tall people" what they think of "pruning roses", there's about as much logic as in your question.

I say EWWWWWWWW! I am really fussy about hand washing after teaching preschool for several years. I would hope religious people would feel the same.

I don't like it because you could spread germs and viruses that can make people sick. Just by touching the handle on the door can get someone a cold. What does that have to do with being an atheist?
