on november 10 i will be turning 14 but i have no clue what to do.
*last year i did a murder mistory.
i was thinking of doing a movie themed party combined with a sleepover but theres one problem. i have hard wood floors. my mom thought of having everyone sleep in different rooms. For example one can sleep on the coach two can sleep in the guest room etc. i thought that was dumb. the whole point of a sleepover is everybody hanging out TOGETHER. Then i thought of sleep outside but in november its cold out =[ i also thought of sleeping at a museum but when i researched it said for ages 8-12.
so i need your help. i need ideas of what to do for my birthday.
*any places around northen new jersey would be great

don't let having wooden floors ruin your party! Just layout lots of blankets on the floor, and put the sleeping bags on top. Your movie theme sounds fun, I'd stick with that. Or do a 70's theme.
I agree with you on the sleeping other rooms, that would ruin the sleep over part.

If your mother have a backward dinner. You will need a couple of rooms for each part of th meal.
Have your guests come in night clothes with a contest for the funniest, etc. Have each of them bring a pillow and a blanket for they will be sleeping, if you sleep, on the floor. Yes, bedrolls are kool.
For the backward dinner, start with decorating cupcakes and have a contest with a small prize for the best. Yup you eat the dessert first! One cupcake will not spoil your appetite.
Go to another room and make sandwiches. Have two kinds of bread, several sliced meats and cheese, lettuce, condiments. And a couple of types of salad and chips. While eating you can watching a movie.
Last go to the last room where there are or'derves (cant spell) are all ready - like veggies and dip, finger foods, etc. Curl up and chat, sleep on the floor, and enjoy the rest of the night.
I bet no one in your group has ever had a backward dinner party.

i think u should do the sleepover just get different colors of sleeping bags and put them all around the floor and if there is a thin sleeping bag put a rug under it. and u can also ask yur friends to bring there sleeping bags also to make it more comfterble another idea you shold have a theme on movies like movies from the 80s or something like that like Greece or scary movies or black and white movies
