Homosexuality is an offense against Christian teaching and is also found to be a sin against God in the Old Testament. But these days with Judaism almost anything goes.

With that said is it against Jewish law to be Homosexual?

The reason why I would like to know is because I am writing a blog on "Judaism Exposed: 30 Reasons Why Modern Judaism Isn't The Same Faith That Jesus Practiced And Why The Jews Wanted Jesus Killed."

I am also publishing a little pamphlet for Kids that is the answer to when people say, "well, Jesus was a Jew." Because even though Jesus' flesh was that of a Jew His Mind was not restricted to that of a Jew but His Mind was that of God and the God of the Europeans.

Thanks for your input!!! I Luv Yahoo!!! Have a GREAT day!!!

If you don't understand the question, don't answer it. If you are using this question as a forum to sound off your doctrine of another faith or ignorant racism, I will not hesitate to report you.

If you have a reference, that would be greatly appreciated. All the best and l'shanah tovah.

I'm Wiccan, and the main rule is "An it harme none, do as ye will".

However, I mostly I'm pro-choice. I believe a woman should have the right to do what she wants with her body, as long as the baby isn't too far developed.

I would never ever get an abortion personally- I just think that women deserve the right to it.

My two beliefs are conflicting each other, and I'm not sure what to make of it.

Please, no bashing me. I have my reasons for my beliefs, personal reasons I do not wish to tell others. I just want help, preferably from other pagans or wiccans, about my conflicting beliefs.

I don't think it would be harming the baby if the baby isn't even technically ALIVE, but I don't know. I still think a woman deserves the right, but how much does this conflict with my religion?

For people who learned English later in their life, what did it sound like before you learned it?

What do other languages sound like to you (supposing you do not already know them)?

For people who natively speak a language, how does an American attempting to speak that language sound? (What does the American accent sound like in foreign languages?)

(and it also says this in the scriptures) that if you've looked at a
woman (from a boys point of view please) that you've already committed adultery with her? Lust is a sin, but how is it (again from a boys point of view) that you've already committed adultery with her if you looked at her with lust? Just confusing.

My uncle who is in his 50's I believe... looks at porno and buys sex toys on his computer and I asked his little daughter who is like 8 and she said he saw naked ladies on his computer and I went on their computer with his little daughter and his computer had the history and favorites loaded up with porno. He never goes to church and he drinks beer and alcoholic beverages. I really wonder if he is a saved christian or not. He says he is christian but I don't know if he is saved? he cusses when nobody is around and puts on a fake costume by his actions when he is around my family, he acts good around my parents and relatives but he isn't. I wish I could ask him if he is really saved.

Sometimes I feel like there are little reminders left by a higher power. For example, I might have lost something, and I happen to find something that makes me think. Then I know where it is, and in some ways I'm compelled to say thankyou. Or if a particular situation isnt in my favour, I begin asking for the tables to turn, and yet again, when they do, I'm compelled to say thankyou. Have you guys ever had this..? I'm not terribly religious, but I get this nagging feeling sometimes .-.

I have been called a communist numerous times for being an atheist.

"Nature is what we know. We do not know the gods of religions. And nature is not kind, or merciful, or loving. If God made me -- the fabled God of the three qualities of which I spoke: mercy, kindness, love -- He also made the fish I catch and eat. And where do His mercy, kindness, and love for that fish come in? No; nature made us -- nature did it all -- not the gods of the religions." Thomas Edison

"The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma." Abraham Lincoln

"I have found Christian dogma unintelligible. Early in life, I absenteed myself from Christian assemblies." Benjamin Franklin

Would you call Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln and Benjamin Franklin communists????

OK are you suppossed to pray to the saints, because i thought that praying to anything but anyone but God was considered worshipping other people besides God, and that's against the 10 commandments. Will anyone please explain this to me? PS do you pray freely to them, like you do to God, or do you pray already-thought-out prayers, if so, can someone send me a link? Thanks! ^_^

Knowledge is fact and evidence based. Faith is the belief without evidence. If one has knowledge about something, one cannot have faith in that same something.

Due certain god believers who claim knowledge then lack faith?

what do you think of the following contradictions?

Americans seem to get realy fussed up about nudity on tv, or in public places. And parrents seem to have great trouble talking to their children about sex. I often see question on how to sit their pubessant children down for 'the talk' or a talk about sexuality in general. While a person is bombarded with sexual image on a daily basis by the american media. underwear adds, shampoo adds, sex in television series, movies and soaps.

america is fixated on sports, a lot of emphesis is put on sports during highschool. not practicing a sporti n highschool will leave you terribly unpopular. Organised sports catch very high ratings nationwide. Yet 56% of the population, is overweight, and a shocking 29% is obeice due to a poort diet and a lack of excersize.

America is obsessed with the successful, moviestars politicians, the rich and famous. while a large portion of the country, lives in poverty in ghettos where crime culture rules

In Luke 20:34-36, Jesus is recorded as saying that people in this age marry and carry on their lives. However, He says that people who are worthy to enter this age to come will not marry. He also says that they will be changed in the resurrection, that they will be immortal, with spiritual bodies like those of angels. They will live forever. When Jesus uses the word marry, is he refering to marriage?

I know that in the LDS church doing it solo, watching sexy movies, and anything that has to do with nontraditional (within marriage between a man and women) sex is a mortal sin.

But are LDS Mormons permitted to view sexy movies under special circumstances? For instance if it would save a marriage or save a young man from committing rape against innocent young ladies?

It used to be my favourite thing, but then they started making it with white crap inside.

I didn't mind, it's just more choices, but then they stopped making it with the proper dark chocolate all together,

I was gutted, untill they started making Flyte's which was pretty much the same thing, but they don't make those anymore.

What happened to the original, proper Milky Way's?
