I'm a spiritual person. Personally I find my peace in nature. I'm not a religious person, I believe in a higher power, but I'm not into organized religion. If I HAD to categorize myself, I'd say I was a Secular Humanist, Pagan, Unitarian, Taoist,Jew. Guess I'm a spiritual seeker but I think that that's the point of religion, to question and find answers that suit you individually. I don't believe in any cookie cutter religion.

I am a spiritual person because I have been born of the Spirit, according to John 3:5-7.
I was once spiritually dead, alienated from the uncreated Life of God by my sins, but I have been restored to a living relationship with God through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ His Son, and the work of the Holy Spirit.
May I suggest you read the First Letter of John in the New Testament to see what God says about this.

had to look it up and still don't fully understand it.
I find myself to be a deeply spiritual person. I constantly am looking at life as more than a "we are simply put here to live it" ordeal. I look at it as beautiful thing to be examined at looked over and enjoyed. Even when it is the most horrible thing in the world. That is my reason for living. I am constantly exploring how we are by word and deed connected with everything else on the planet. Helping someone take their groceries to the car today can help a homeless man in Japan in a few years time.
I don't know if that was explained well or if the next part even counts.
I am awed by all creation in all its complexities. Trying to constantly understand it through scientific theories and philosophy.
That is all I can think to say on my spirituality based on the definitions I looked up. I hope you find them of use on your quest. May your life be a happy and fulfilling one.

For a person of reason, the word "spiritual" is intended to mean as "of the realm of the mind." Ideas, concepts, abstractions are not physical, but they are real and they are products of the physical human brain. Only in this sense we can figuratively speak of being spiritual. The "spirit" of man is not a ghost, or a mystical thing. It is his mind, his character, his personality, his emotional and intellectual make-up. None of these things survive the body when it dies, because they are all products of the physical body.

Yes, I volunteer in my church. I help out with children's church, and I'm helping with a drama program for the kid's on Wednesday nights. I'm also a spiritual person in more ways than that. I talk about God all the time and I pray whenever I can.

No. I think I need to confirm the existence of spirits before I can be spiritual.

Yes, I am very in tune with my inner self, and aware of the existence of things beyond our comprehension. I don't by any means know more than the tip of the iceberg. I have great faith and believe.

I'm not aware of being spiritual. I am a physical being in a physical universe, that keeps me busy enough. If I'm to be a spirit after this life I can wait for it. My interest in religion is more about human social behavior than about deities or spirits.
