Why would a truly loving, benevolent god discriminate about who lives, dies, suffers, lives joyously? It makes no sense..... thoughts please?

Vampire for me. To me they seem to have more power and are all around cooler. They are classier and I love the way they dress.

I asked why God allows Satan to be powerful. You said "free will, honey, free will." So, then, what you're saying is, without some red-horned guy running around trying to trick us all into becoming atheists, we wouldn't have free will at all?

I hate this, I have been strong with christ, but also I'm not positive. When you have scientific information saying one thing, and I know God could deffinetely create science and say this is how it will happen. I just sometimes am worried that I'm being a bad person questioning my faith, and I know it's true I'm just confused.. Has this ever happened to you?

what made you get back on track, or change?

Thanks!

I want to accept Islam, and it seems as though more Americans are beginning to realize that it is one of the cleanest alternatives available. Do you think that more Americans will convert in the coming years, if progress in Iraq declines and the severity of attacks increase?

I mean, I could do all the "Pillars of Islam" requirements, say the things that need to be said, and externally live an Islamic life, but it is impossible that I could actually believe Allah exists. I mean, it's just not possible to believe without realistic evidence. So is it possible for me to convert to Islam? If not, it seems likely I'd be the target of jihad (actually as an American I already am), and so must I struggle against Islam for the sake of my own survival?

If everyone was partly right and partly wrong, which part of your belief (or lack of) could you deal with being wrong? Deity? Heaven/afterlife? A hell? Your holy book? _____?

I think that overpopulation is one of the biggest and most ignored problems in the world today. I have seen a lot of different opinions on the subject, some people think it is a big problem, some people think it is not a problem at all
What do you think? If you think its not a problem at all, say why. If you do think its a problem, what are some things that you think we should be doing as a society to help get the problem under control?

How does it feel to waste your time praying to a God that states in his own words that the Jewish ppl are his "chosen ones" and they will be saved on judgement day.

*shrug* just curious 'tis all. BTW don't call me an aethist b/c i'm not....i'm agnostic thank you. I neither confirm nor deny there's a God....I can honestly say, "I just don't know"

The one that stays at home, right under your nose, telling you how much they love you all time, thank you, thank you, thank you, you are the most wonderful parent, ever, ever, ever!!!?

Or the one who goes out and makes his/her own way, Is strong, smart, uses the brain you gave them to discern right and wrong, doesn't ask you for stuff all the time, and makes something of themselves without your help?

Check out the lovely answer I just got from one john_d_ayer:

"Heaven is for people; who believe that God's rules make sense, admit they make mistakes, learn from their mistakes and become better people.

"Hell is for people who think; God's rules are a joke, they don't make mistakes or if they do - so what, who cares if you learn anything and who think they are as good as they will ever be."

Wow. So, I wonder if other Christians agree with this guy. Atheists, do you feel that you never learn from your mistakes, or who cares if you do? Do you think you're as good as you'll ever be?

How disgusting of him to say such a thing about people who don't believe in his God.

Does anyone besides myself ever notice that when speaking to those that you don't really know, that people tend to talk about themselves? As soon as the topic gets changed to you, or something not about them, they seem to end the conversation and walk away. These are the same people who start the conversation eagerly talking about themselves, their life, etc, and only want to talk to you if they have to share something about themselves. Is it just me, or is this human nature?

Kyla.. She must be flying to see her pimp. Did I just hear a H0E? I have not seen her on the Today Show but from what I heard, it was actually worse than the Yahoo News pics I saw and I have to say. This girl is definetely better off just naked. At least the bottom half of her that is. Her skirt didnt even FIT her right, you can almost imagine her whole putay in your head. Yea, some of you are going to think... well uhhh bikini this bikini that and how it's normal to see a bikini lady walking on the beach. Someone please explain a bikini lady on a plane. And i have to point out.... Victoria Secret style... there's a thin line between a very sexy woman and should i say.. a s1utish looking female.

Point being.. I really would not want my kids to forced to see her panties on a plane and worse... think it's OK to dress like that in public. It's all about respect and understanding the world consists of more than just you and that you need to make others feel comfortable around u as well

Hi!
I really want to know about Christians Mennonite Brethren. Can you please tell me what you know and especially the special things about them and how they differ from others.

Please don't tell me the sites I need to go to, because I've already been to few, I just want to know some basics.

Thanks a ton =D
